I ordered 2 subs double meat and cheese with no lettuce because I'm SUPER allergic and a 10pc order of wings well done. My girlfriend and I pulled up to the window and pay, the manager Diane reads us the wrong order which is no problem, then couldn't find my name or my phone number so I tell her my order and so she then gives us the right food. I asked in a polite way are you sure there's no lettuce and explained my allergy, she confirmed. We leave to our destination and open our food, my sub was a lettuce sandwich, no problem, I'll get it remade, in the meantime we tear into our wings and LITERALLY HOT PINK IN THE CENTER! Gross! I call and ask for the manger and explained the error and negligence she didn't let me finish my sentence she just said "COME ON BACK ILL REMAKE THE SUB" I kindly asked her to remake the whole order and she said since the sub was the only thing made incorrectly that's the only thing she was gonna remake so I requested a full refund on my 23.00 order and she said this location doesn't do refunds. I had no idea so I tried to come to an agreement and get my entire order remade seeing how it was raw and incorrect, I had to drive back up there and WAIT yet again. Diane said the most she can do was remake my sub and give me cookie. A cookie?! How about some edible food?! We drive back to the store and she IGNORED us at the window while arguing with the 2 customers over an Uber order where they received the wrong food (She was clearly having a bad night). My girlfriend was driving and attempts to hand her the 3 boxes asking for them to be remade she screams I TOLD YOU IM NOT GIVING YOU A REFUND. My girlfriend didn't ask for a refund, here we could see she wasn't even listening, before we could even explain we just wanted a remake she says she's calling the cops and slams the window in our faces! We proceed to listen to her scream at the 911 operator saying THESE PEOPLE ARE WASTING MY TIME AND THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO?! This "manager" attempted to have an officer come to your store and remove us because she failed to do her job correctly, waste an officers time opposed to remaking an order! Pathetic and unprofessional! We leave and I call the store the next day and speak with Tasha. While explaining she cut me off saying Diane told her everything and she also mention we cursed her out and began banging on the window which made her feel threatened, which was her reason to call the cops. This is 100% false! I asked Tasha did she watch the video, she said she didn't have time to, understandable....I guess. She said she spoke to the guest services dept and told them everything so she would remake the order. At this point the food isn't my concern, it's a manager lying on my girlfriend and I painting us as aggressors and the GM not even taking the time to watch a 5 minute clip (if that) to check the authenticity of her statement. We head BACK and I ask Tasha did she watched the video, she says yes, I asked did you hear us say ONE CURSE WORD to your staff? She replies I don't know, the sound doesn't work. Wow. I then ask, well did you see either one of us bang on the window? She replies I don't know it was dark I couldn't see anything. Wow, once again I'm in disbelief. Then goes to say Diane is usually nice. I didn't ask what type of person she was, I wanted an apology on her behalf at least!! I never received an apology, a credit, a refund, but I did get my food remade THE NEXT DAY, so thanks for that Tasha. In closing, I would just like to say I spend entirely too much money at this place of business to be treated as I was and dismissed! This was a sorry excuse for management, for customer service alone!! I'm still not satisfied with the outcome of this exhausting event, I hope someone reads this and agrees that this was a nightmare and...
Read moreThis is the worst delivery service I have ever received, in my entire life, on a consistent basis, over the span of multiple years. I love Donato's food and where I am located in the city, this is one of the best options I have. It's a shame that over the last few years I have almost never received a quality product. Literally 90% of the orders I have placed over the last few years have had one if not all of the following issues: Cold and old product Incomplete orders Incorrect orders Two hour + wait times (which would be fine if they could at least honor the two hour time and then deliver hot complete orders) Horrible customer service in the event one or more of the issues listed above occurs.
I took 6 months off from ordering with this location until the other day I decided to give it another go. I placed my order online and it immediately gave me a 2 hour delivery time. I ordered a sub, chicken tenders, and a soda - 2 hours is an incredibly long time for this type of order (seriously, Papa Johns delivered a pizza to me in less than an hour during Ohio state vs. Wisconsin). I ordered at 8:45 and expected delivery at 10:45. It did not arrive until 11:15. The driver did not have a pen to sign my receipt so I had to wait as she tossed her car looking for one. It appeared she had her boyfriend or someone else in the car with her. She asked if I had a pen, which I did not bring to the front entrance with me. Finally she found one and approached me. I could easily see that she did not have all of my order. She handed me my food, the bag was crumbled, and damp, and cold. I asked her about my drink and she smiled and said that she had to bring that back to me. So to recap, you failed to make the two hour delivery time for a sandwich, chicken tenders, and a drink - and you couldn't deliver a complete, and hot order, nor were you prepared once you arrived at the delivery location. I handed her the food and asked her to take it back. I called the store to obtain a refund, and although I wasn't looking for one - an apology of some type would have been nice. All I received was "well....we have been a little busy tonight, and it's going to take at least 7-10 business days to refund your money." That was the end of their "customer service". And this is consistent. The only consistent thing about this store is their inability to provide quality product and service to their guests. I will never order from this nightmare location again, which is a shame because I like Donatos. This store does a disservice to their name and product and I would recommend making serious changes at this location. Apparently, from looking at some of the other complaints here, I can see that I am not the only one with such experiences....
Read moreWORST experience I have EVER had with any delivery. Ordered Donatoes Pizza Was told they were a little busy and that's fine. Something about an hour delivery. Well...3 hours later we get our food. We tried calling door dash and kept getting hung up on. Then tried Donatoes and got no answer.
We were told door dash came three times before the time the food was supposed to be done and when It wasn't left. After many phone calls and after being hung up on many times over 2.5 hours later we get our food...good right? No. They forgot half our order so we had to get a neighbor to take us up there to get the rest our food. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had...and that's not Donatoes that's door dash...the way they put it. I want some kind of gift card or reimbursement. If I don't and many in the neighborhood will simply go to Bella's or somewhere else. This was 50 plus dollars that was spent so I think we deserve something from this horrible experience. I gave a tip to the driver because I highly doubt it was their fault and as a former driver myself I had to but I will not go through this again without a reassurance it won't. I want a refund or a gift card and I don't even care if it is at least 30 dollars or something. If we don't get this i will make sure that we don't order anywhere that door dash deals with.
On the flip side. I want to give a review Donatos and that's a 4. The staff is nice and before door dash entered we never have a problem. I have 4 kids and 4 adults here and we were starving. Please make this right. Thank you
