03/24/24 - Today was my first time revisiting CPAC in about 5 years. I went to see a performance that I did not see because the artist I wanted to see perform was out sick. Thankfully, they will reprise their role at another venue. While there I took a pic of the building. Enjoy your performances. This venue welcomes different genres of entertainment. They have a few small stages that comfortably welcomes guest, yet the performances are big, impactful, and moving. Convenient street parking and parking spaces across the center. Friendly staff.

I've never been disappointed with a Six String Concert. This one was Joe Crookston, not only a singer/songwriter, but add to that a visual artist. He had some of his work on display in a separate room, and serenaded us there with his powerful voice before the show. Talk about up close and personal! The one man show was excellent, though he invited a singer friend in the audience up to harmonize on a few songs. He played multiple instruments, and his lyrics were deep and powerful. I bought all 4 of his CDs.

Cool personal theater. Seating makes you feel like you are right in the performance, but might be a little too packed without much elbow room between you and the person sitting next to you. Saw “Breaking the Code” there put on by CATCO. Space is clean and small snack stand is a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

They need to make it much more obvious that the first row of parking spots on the lot immediately next to the building is not their parking. I pay for that reserved spot as a tenant of one of the apartment buildings nearby and there are frequently people visiting the performing arts center who park there. I've yet to call the towing company since that would really suck to do to someone, but it's a regular occurrence and I still pay even if I don't park in my spot. There needs to be signage or some indicator besides the one very small, very missable sign about where to park for the performing...

I had never been to this venue before, and I found it a real treat! It has an old-school feeling to it, but because of choice instead of situation. Some of that might be the area of town - brick streets, classic architecture, and a large park nearby featuring live music and fun topiary. But the venue itself is great - it's large and mostly open design keeps it from feeling cramped, the stage area was surprisingly versatile, and the addition of a unique gift shop featuring handmade and beautiful items only added to the...
