I had a terrible experience at this salon and won't be back.

I came in for partial highlights (just a few around my face) and a haircut. The stylist was condescending from the moment that I sat down. She insisted that I needed a full highlight. I left the salon with yellow/orange striped hair (I have light brown hair) that was incredibly damaged. She told me mid-process not to look at my hair, that it would look better later. I think she realized that it looked awful. I had only colored my hair twice in my entire life prior to this visit and my hair was long, thick, and healthy. When I left my hair was a dry/frizzy/damaged discolored mess. When I checked out, the stylist increased the price of my service to nearly $300 as she added the full highlight and an overall toner, saying "it won't be as much next time." I was appalled. As another reviewer noted, price changes - especially nearly $100 increases - should be discussed before the service is rendered.

I called several days later to complain after friends and family confirmed how bad my hair looked. The stylist was again condescending and said "sometimes it takes a few times to get the look you want." Multiple sessions for a few face-framing highlights? Huh? She did not even apologize that I was unhappy with my hair. I've since had to spend hundreds to...

I’ve been seeing Cossette for about three years now, and I honestly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. Whether it’s color corrections, brows, festival braids, or eyelash extensions, she nails it every time. I was genuinely impressed when she corrected my hair from green to pink in just one session, and that same level of skill shows every time I sit in her chair. The blowouts last me for days, which is perfect since I’m lazy with the hairdryer.

I respect that, as a licensed stylist, she still pushes herself to grow by learning from top hair experts and refining her technique. She’s always upfront about the process, breaking it down in a way that makes me feel informed and reassured.

I was in Columbus for a conference, and walked into the salon with dirty gross hair and Gretchen brought me back to life!

She gave me the best shampoo/condition of my life. Her hands are absolute magic. I have a Drybar membership and get blow outs regularly and I have never had such a magical scalp massage.

I used to only trust one person to cut my hair for 14 years. Now that haircuts cost an arm and a leg where I live, I’m always in search for a reasonably priced haircut when I’m traveling. Gretchen, should charge more!!!

I’m not sure if it’s the premium products this salon uses or Gretchen’s magic but I’ve never had a blow out last this long! This was absolutely ideal for me because my blowout looked fresh for the three days of the conference.
