Based on all of the other reviews, I wish I had been here during a band’s performance. I popped in while I was driving through Columbus because I had never been to a meadery but have had my fair share of meads. When we first walked in there seemed to be a lingering stench and we couldn’t really figure out it’s point of origin. The bartender was wildly helpful in describing all of our options and there were quite a variety of meads available. Once we started drinking them, though, we were a bit disappointed in the final product. A couple of the seven we tried were delightful but the rest were extremely thick with an almost syrupy mouthfeel. It was a fun adventure to try it all at least!

We purchased a tour from groupon randomly and it's been our best Columbus experience so far. Lisa the meade master was SO knowledgeable and we learned so much about meade and specifically how much care goes into your product! Everything is locally sourced from the honey to the apples and they use all natural products throughout the process and it shows! We got to sample many delicious meades and the flavor profiles were well developed and though out. We got to sample many and came home with souvenir glasses. The tour, samples and glasses were all included in the tour price. We came home with two bottles and will probably be joining the club. We will definitely be back!

We bought the tour experience for ourselves and my parents. All of us had such a great time! There's a very wide variety of flavors and styles of mead. Julian and his wife were great hosts and we enjoyed every second. If you are going for the tour/tasting, it's a different address from the much older Brothers Drake location on 5th. Make sure to check your email for the correct address so that you're not ten minutes late! (I don't know what kind of idiot would make that mistake...) 😅 If you live in central Ohio, and support your local businesses, then it's absolutely worth the trip to Brothers Drake; you will become a mead convert like us!

I had heard great things about this place but didn’t get a chance to go until last week. First off, the mead is great. More of a light slightly wine-like mead. Easy drinking. The bartender Owen was fantastic! I cannot express more how amazing he made our first time here. He gave great recommendations and gave us a lot of tasters to see which ones we liked best. We also accidentally stumbled upon their salsa night with live music. So much fun and very lively! They also have a lot of artwork for sale. Such a great vibe! Overall, will definitely become a regular stop.

My husband and I received the mead tour as a Christmas gift. We used it as a date night and had an amazing time! It was an excellent tour, very informative, lots of free samples, very high quality products with ohio sourced apples and honey! We ended up buying two bottles which run around $25 each! It is a family owned business with only two employees! So they put in a lot of work to make the amount of Mead that they produce. Will definitely recommend to all family and friends and will be returning! Stop by you won’t be disappointed!
