Since the new owners took over, a few weeks ago I went in to buy a pack of chicken wings and to my surprise I notice after I got the meat home well still in the car, I notice it was smelling bad.. even after I got it home in the fridge and notice the next door the smell was bad. I took the pack of chicken back and told the manager and he offer another pack for free. As I was in line another person did the same, but to our surprise this was the health inspector bringing back meat as well. When I spoke to the mgr and stated why was the meat bad? he stated "its the same meat that was there when they took over the store". People be careful what you buy from this store now with the new owners, check your food b4 you leave the store. I def will not be going back to this place. Staff has been so nice, they make you want to come back just to support them. Depending on the day, inventory can get low but that’s just the nature of a small business and fresh cut food, well worth the trip.
All that is before we even get to the quality of the meat and the insanely good prices. I am somebody that avoids the grocery store at all cost but I have found myself happily making multiple trips here a week when I’m just looking for some high quality goods to throw on the grill.
