I recently had cookies made for a baby shower and they were absolutely amazing! I live in TX and was hosting a shower in Concord NC. I came across Cara’s Cookies on a previous trip to NC and loved the cookies and the story behind them. I thought what better way to support a local company with such a heartfelt mission, than have them make the cookies for the baby shower! Tom and his crew made it so easy. He communicated with me via text by sharing ideas and options. On the day of the shower I picked up the most perfect cookies! The decorated cookies were absolutely beautiful and the colors matched the shower decor perfectly. The chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies (not pictured) were beautiful and tasted so very good. I was a very frequent customer of Caras. Service was never great but hey you go for the cookies right? The issue sometimes is the cookie is inconsistent from batch to batch but I would keep going because when they are good they are very good. However, the last time I went the cookie tasted like flour, and it was very white, almost like they forgot to put butter. I took it back and asked if I could exchange it for a different cookie and they would not allow me, only for another of the same type. The issue is all the chocolate chip cookies looked like the one I received.
