I had the worst customer service yesterday. I was there to find an outfit for a funeral. I did get the standard greeting “Welcome to Cato’s” hollered from the front desk when I first walked in, but after that nothing. I found quite a bit to try on and when I asked one of the associates how it looked on and what shoes may go with it, she acted like she did not care in the least. Then after nobody asking if I needed anything else or asking to off load my pile of clothes I was lugging around while I looked at the jewelry, I stepped to the counter to check out. The associate was scrolling on her phone but heard me putting all my items down for almost a minute before even.bothering to look up and acknowledging me. when she finally did, she just stared at me awkwardly for about 30 seconds like she had no idea what to do. Or that I am supposed to say something to her. Not a word was said, not “oh , your ready to check out? “ or “ Dd you find what you were looking for?”… $156 and they could have cared less. Read moreI love going to this Cato location because the staff don't mind coming on the floor to help assist with helping me put together creative outfits. They are very friendly and the store is clean and organized. I appreciate all that they do to help me. If I try on 5 pair of shoes they will look at every pair and give me their honest opinion, in regards to which one's looks good with my outfits. I understand that they have to make sales, and I don't mind giving them my business because of their awesome customer services. Thanks to the Concord Cato Staff for making me feel at home!...
