I recently had one of the worst experiences of my life, and this is coming from someone who has been a loyal customer for years. I was hired for a high-stakes event with an estimated budget of over $80K. I placed an order for the necessary camera equipment a week prior and was assured by someone (Ron or Rob) over the phone that everything was set. I even asked if there was anything else I needed to do, and they confirmed it was all good.
Fast forward to the day of the event: I sent my husband to pick up the gear (which I added him as a pick up person ON THE CALL), only to be told the order wasn’t verified and couldn’t be released. The person I spoke to conveniently claimed they didn’t remember our conversation, even though I have a screenshot proving I called them. They also said they tried calling me, but I have screenshots of my call log showing no missed calls from them.

As expected, the lens I was looking for (300 2.8) was out of stock. After asking what I was shooting, they gave me solid recommendations for other lenses that were in stock.
I called them back about 15 minutes later, and decided to rent a 200-400 F4. Despite being a first-time customer renting a lens worth 5x more than my car, the rental process was smooth sailing from there. At 9 AM the next morning, the lens was ready for pickup and my weekend was saved.
