Kirkland's Home — Local services in Conroe

My wife bought some stuff here and we had to take it back due to the pungent odor it gave off, which happens to be the same smell that encompasses the entire store. I get a headache within moments of walking in due to that odor, i feel terrible for the ones working there because that is absolutely toxic. So anyways when we tried to return the items we were told by an associate at this location as well as a manager at the woodlands location that they will be able to look up the transaction by phone number. Nice enough store and staff but the return process was a mess. The clerk had far too much writing to do on the receipt and typing in the computer. It made the whole procedure take a long time and then at the end they wanted details about me even though I paid cash. This review could have been a lot better if the clerk had just checked the items quick, gave .e my refund abd went back later and did all the afterwork. She was nice but when I say I don't want my info in your computer I mean it. Simple as that. I will always say no to stores collecting customer info that is not needed. My email is not...

I'm very disturbed by the merchandise they sell now. I used to love this store and spent hundreds of dollars there at Christmas time and for birthdays. I was pretty upset at Christmas time when I notice there wasn't much faith based inventory. I ask an employee what was going on and she told me they decided to go more modern. When I asked what modern had to do with the elimination of faith based inventory she couldn't answer me. So I guess in modern society faith is disappearing? I left the store and went to hobby lobby.
