The Boardwalk Boutique — Local services in Conroe

I am not one to write google reviews, but I am thoroughly disappointed by this boutique. I am from Omaha, NE, and come frequently to visit friends and family here in TX. About a month ago I purchased several hundred dollars of clothing in the store. When I returned to Omaha I decided to wear the striped pink and white sweatshirt I had purchased. That evening when I took it off the seam had ripped horizontally making the shirt not able to be worn. This shirt has not been washed and only been worn once then placed back in my suitcase to bring back to TX with me for this weekend. Today I went into the store to ask for either store credit or hoping to get the same shirt again since the previous had ripped when taking it off. The front older lady was not accommodating whatsoever. She said she was sorry but it had obviously been washed and her "hands were tied". She then told me she hoped I could understand. This not only made me feel like a liar as this shirt has never been washed clearly. I am not impressed. I have never ever heard of or been to a boutique that was not driven to make sure the customer experience was amazing. Specifically because I had spent several hundred dollars in this store and even brought two family members who spent well over $100 dollars too. This company needs to learn to stand behind their own products and own up if something does not work out or is torn. As we were leaving she offered a $15 dollar credit to purchase another item. Why would I even consider doing this as the item I purchased was $50 something dollars and ripped? I won''t shop here anymore. I will also be emailing the vendor to let them know what happened and hopefully get some help there since the customer service...

Outside of being a fantastic store the owner is an amazing person. My dog got overheated this past weekend due to 100+ temps in Montgomery. Lucy did not want to move from her spot which was close to the front of Broadway Boutique. The owner went out of her way multiple times to give Lucy water, and pour buckets of ice water to get her to cool down. Without the owner's help it could have been a lot worse. She saved my dog's life and I am forever thankful. Next time we visit Montgomery I will make sure to drop by again to shop but even more important to say thank...

My children and I was being followed and watched by 2 ladies and I felt like me and my 2 kids were thieves. I really did feel uncomfortable so I didn't really look around like I wanted to and I just asked my kids if they wanted anything but I really didn't want to buy, we didnt, and We just left.
