Tldr: I've never had a better haircut. These guys are the real deal. Great work and fantastic people. I recommend Fletcher or the titular John. Beyond impressed and have settled on my favorite in town barbershop.

I heard about this new shop through a friend and decided to give it a shot. I had Fletcher cut my hair and I am just blown away. My hair is notorious for being a barber/stylist nightmare, but despite it all, Fletcher did a fantastic job. I was in and out without any problems. He also understood all of my concerns and directions perfectly. He was also amazingly personable and charming. I saw some of my coworkers recent haircuts and asked where they went. They all had good things to say about Handsome John’s Barbershop. I researched and found quality reviews so, I scheduled an appointment. It was easy, clear and fast - even added to my google calendar! The shop is clean with a strong playlist - Stapleton was playing when I walked in. Easy to see that Mr. John and Mr. Fletcher love what they do and take pride in their work - great guys. My appointment was with Mr. John who greeted me by name and took the time to listen to my requests. The barber chairs are pretty cool! I waited 37 years existing on this planet before I decided to have the “barber shop” experience. I’m talking the whole shave and a haircut kinda thing, not just a haircut from one of them “great” or “sports” places. I decided to try it out a few months ago and really enjoyed it. However, I felt the need to try out some different spots to see which one felt right for me. Fast forward to today(6/21/2024). Handsome John’s was my second stop and it may be the last. Great spot, great service, and it really gave me that barber shop feel I was looking for.
