Where do we get started? I brought my daughter to this establishment today and provided the stylist a picture of a simple rod set that I would like to get done. We arrived approximately 12:30 PM to this hair salon upon entering I realize that they had a few clients there so immediately I began to detangle my daughterâs hair. Just to be helpful. When the stylist got started on her hair, about 30 minutes into the wash she was still conditioning my daughterâs hair. So, the stylist offered me the opportunity to leave and come back and get her which I decided was a great idea of being that she had a dance to attend a couple hours later. I left the salon no later than 1:15 PM. I reached out to the Stylist around 3 PM to check in just to see what the progress looked was because she had somewhere to be at five. Around 3 PM. She advised me that she hadnât put her under the hairdryer for a rod set. Iâve then decide OK thatâs fine. Iâll go home and grab her stuff and then Iâll just bring it there. I was nearby and it was now 3:52pm so I decided to just ride by the salon to see the progress myself with my own eyes, I didnât roll the window down. I didnât speak. I just looked through the window to find that the Stylist was still working on the back of the hair and not the top. I needed to pick my daughter up approximately around 4:30 to make it to where we needed to go on time. that of course didnât happen. No worries I didnât rush her. I didnât give her any frustration. I just waited patiently. Once it was time to leave for our event. I brought everything my daughter needed for her event and moved as quickly as I could. The first thing I noticed is her hair was in one ponytail and not two. the rod set that I asked her to put in her hair didnât quite look that great however, we were too late in the game to complain About the style itself. We had somewhere to go at that very second so we left and we arrived to her school her hair still looked OK by the time we entered the cafeteria and my daughter was sitting there for approximately 20 minutes. We started to notice that her hair was getting a little puffy And 10 more minutes go by itâs getting even puffier so now weâre starting to wonder whatâs going on because sheâs not really moving around sheâs not outside all the factors that we usually take place in the situation arenât there so why is her hair getting puffy but we just continue to see whatâs gonna happen we allow the Dance to go by now we are working on two hours after leaving the salon we get home. I take photos and I send it to their stylist Khy. I advised her that the service is rendered did not work and I just kind of wanted to see what course of action she would take for this: like if she would say OK you guys can come back tomorrow and maybe we can try to fix it or sorry about what happened to you let me offer you $20 back. just something, it doesnât necessarily need to need to be a monetary amount. but, I would like to have heard letâs try to fix this for you because I paid her $110 for a eight year-old rod set and I didnât give her any trouble at Apple Pay it to her no problem. but, when I mention to her, something is going wrong there is no preemptive course to fix the issue. so I decided I would go and leave a review being that I just donât want to continue to go back-and-forth. Thatâs just not kinda what I wanna do here. I just wanna warn people donât waste your money here. Everything is overpriced, they overcharge, (someone else walked out before I arrived due to their prices) they take forever to do your hair and they donât care about their customers. If she truly cared she wouldâve offered a another solution instead she made excuses. I donât like the way she handled this and maybe this review will get to her and this will a teachable moment. Do your customers better and they will turn into clients. You knew you didnât do your best work when she was finished after the third time you asked if she was going to return to the shop to be your client. Dropping the...
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience at Elevated Beauty Bar and feel compelled to warn others about their unprofessional practices. Not only do they lack basic amenities like a card reader, but they expect customers to pay through cash app or Apple Pay, which is highly inconvenient and raises concerns about security. Why take a $25 deposit online and collect the remainder of the payment through cash app or Apple Pay and charge a $5 âservice feeâ. Hopefully theyâre using the âservice feeâ money to put towards a simple card reader.
To make matters worse, during my visit, the property manager abruptly entered the premises and announced that they would be locking the doors at the end of the month. It was revealed that the owners had failed to pay rent for three months and were unresponsive to communication attempts. This lack of professionalism and disregard for business obligations is deeply concerning.
Adding to my frustration, I paid a total of $270 for a style that I didn't even request. I believe that for such a substantial amount, I should have received the service I asked for. While the stylist was pleasant, my hair is already coming out less than a week after the appointment, indicating subpar quality. I was actually trying this salon out as a potential place to bring my wedding party, and Iâm glad I did a trial first.
Overall, my experience at Elevated Beauty Bar left much to be desired. The unprofessionalism, lack of basic payment options, the unexpected style, and overall poor quality of service have led me to believe that this establishment may not be a reliable or trustworthy choice for beauty services.    Read moreMy experience was odd in my opinion but okay. I went as a walk in on a Sunday for a sew-in. The sew-in cost was $150 with a leave out. Then I needed a shampoo which I was charged $35 for. I promise this was the worst shampoo I have ever had. She never scrubbed my scalp even after me advising her that I had dry scalp. It felt more like she was washing my hair only. I usually never get a shampoo for no more than $25 and it usually is a scrub and so relaxing. This was something else but like I said it was Sunday đ my choices were limited. When my sew-in was complete you could see the flakes from my hair coming from my scalp so now I feel like I wasted $185 for nothing đ¤Śđžââď¸ Iâm not a cruel person so I wasnât trying to tip because I was very dissatisfied with the service but her not having change I wine up...
