KWIK-KASH Pawn Shop — Local services in Cookeville

Honestly it’s a horrible store with very little inventory. If you ask the people there anything about anything other than guns they have no idea what they are talking about and often talk to each other or make up something in their head that is easily fact checkable. I was in there for quite some time today and they would offer each person different “lowest prices” on every item that was so far off from the other it was amazing to me. They also claim that everything in there “doesn’t last long” when in fact it sits there for months on end unless it’s a particularly hot firearm. Kind of funny to see so many people get lowballed for not knowing what they have. But to summarize, if you know what you have and want to get the most value out of it do not go to them and waste your time. Try to sell it second hand. I was offered some unbelievable low price for something that I knew the value of and knew the value of it second hand. Just a shame. Of course they have their regulars and the locals that think they are getting “smoking deals” but in all honesty, just post it on Facebook Marketplace or take it to any other pawn shop. I have only written 2 reviews in my entire life of Google so far my criteria to be met the place would be required to climb either really high of expectations or really low. Well this place has far exceeded it. I have only pawned a few items out of desperation and was reluctant anyway because of losing an important item at freedom pawn in sparta ( he will free you from your money and whatever item you pawned given half a chance) sorry sidetracked! But I had. NO choice and pawned an item I did not want to lose but life being how it is I lost my job and with everything going on I forgot it totally and in a panic called and explained my situation and by all rights lost it but rather than tell me that's too bad for you and turning around and likely turning a 4 or 500.00 profit the guy goes " brother it isn't going anywhere " and let me pay on it several days later! I told my wife from now on I would pay considerably more to give them my business but thing is you don't have to pay more ! Everything I have checked has been very reasonable and they work with you.. amazing staff. Give them a shot. These are the businesses we need to keep...

This business does not care about its customers. Its clearly apparent that the employees have no experience working with anything of value, I brought in a pair of gold cuff links and they told me they were fake, I almost believed them then I took it to Cookeville Jewerly and found out I almost threw 125$ in gold away scrap price. Well I proceeded to call the Kwik cash pawn to let them know that I didn't appreciate it, the owner who goes by Chris was rude, and had told me congratulations when I told him that the gold was real. Terrible business, no sense of professionalism and very unfriendly in general. I received $192 for those same gold cuff links "that Chris and his employees said was fake" and several silver coins from Marty from Cookeville Jewerly. Marty was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. At Kwik kash they were trying to give me 40 dollars on top of it had told me the gold was fake.......essentially don't shop or do buisness...
