I have been one other time! The first time was very happy that the espresso was smooth and the drinks tasted like the description - the fruity pebble which is all I’ve thought about so I came in this morning. I’m a sucker for a fruity pebble latte and hadn’t had one in years and that hit the spot. I came TODAY to get one. I ordered iced/no whip. I waited and waited and asked if I missed my drink and was told that they sold me a drink they’re out of and I was like ok why wouldn’t you come tell me and asked were you just going to wait until I asked questions to inform me. They were busy so I did wait an appropriate amount of time to finally ask well he said that he’d told the guy who took my order and basically it sounded like no one took initiative or accountability to come tell me it’s sold out and ask what I’d like instead. They’re was like 4-5 of them and I’ve seen coffee shops much busier in Nashville function with 2-3 baristas so walking away or cat calling me up with that many people shouldn’t have been an issue. I then went and replaced my order and even had to say whoa I already paid well it was an even more while later I received my drink but it was incorrect and had whip cream. I will say she told me they refunded it which I didn’t ask for and I appreciate that.

Bought beans from Broast for years. I was happy to have a local roaster who sold good beans. The company was sold, renamed to "Vertical" and moved across the street. NO PARKING, unless you want to risk your life to run across a busy street. The coffee flavor is not as good, and now their price has gone from $30 for a kilo to $57 for a kilo. Broasters was about coffee. Vertical is about "atmosphere". I AM DONE with this place. I'm back to buying online from people who know coffee, and having it shipped. I can get good coffee beans for $40 a kilo online, with free shipping... AND I don't have to put up with crappy parking and having to cross a high...

This is an amazing local roaster. If you are a frequent coffee drinker and traveling through the Cookeville area. Vertical will take care of all of your caffeine coffee needs. They have an amazing specialty list that has some season drinks as well.

The Swanson and the Heat Waves cold foam cold brew was a favorite among our group.

This is high quality coffee drinks with a great service and decent seating.

The atmosphere is small town with some group areas and free parking outside the coffee shop.
