My son is a CHD Warrior, and HEB is the only local drug store that can get his complicated compound medication in for his heart condition. Today my husband & I got a call from the HEB pharmacy just as we were pulling into the parking lot so i told him to go through the drive thru since it should hopefully be a little faster. when we get to the 2nd window, we tell the pharmacist that my sons medication could possibly be under 2 names, and she proceeds to get rude and say “i don’t see that medicine in, did we call you? i don’t see that we called you on our call log.” then when i proceed to tell her the number that i got called from the only response she could give me was “do you want me to get my pharmacist for you?” yes please, give me someone who won’t get irritated for doing their job. when we got to talk to the pharmacist, she was just as rude an ugly with her attitude towards us. she threw our sons medicine into the box, told us to sign the recipe and put it back in the box, and then didn’t help us any further. i have worked for HEB going on 5 years now, and i couldn’t fathom treating another human like that especially with our code of conduct for HEB. the name on my receipt was Cate J. we will be changing our son’s pharmacy back to where he was born, 2 hours away since HEB isn’t family friendly...
Read moreI have a prescription that I typically get filled by the hospital pharmacy on post but they were out of stock of the medicine. I called this pharmacy on Monday 09/25 and was told they had it and would call the on post pharmacy to transfer my prescription and it would be ready the following day. I called the following day (Tuesday 09/26) and they had no record of me or my prescription at the pharmacy. The girl I spoke to that day, Marta, assured me they would get it squared away and it would be filled the next day. I called today (09/27) and they had record of the pharmacy and even told me how much it would be after running it through my insurance. I get to the pharmacy a couple hours later and I’m told my prescription is “stuck in the system” and that they don’t have the medicine in stock. This medicine is needed to sustain my pregnancy and the lack of compassion and care shown is disgusting. This place seriously needs to get...
Read moreAs a retired nurse, I used to love this pharmacy, have been a client for years…but lately the rudeness the lack of concern, the lack of patience with clientele is really upsetting from the pharmacist named Jesse, who seems way too busy to answer questions and treats you as though you are bothering him.. to the various people who answer the phone and snap at you and tell you they are busy.. I rarely call but do have medication questions occasionally …this is just absurd and sad. I feel like I have done something wrong by the time I get off the phone…I hope they get it together. I spoke with a lady name Anna and she seemed very concerned and very apologetic and kind but if you go here because you want to have a relationship with your pharmacist forget it …no small town care and...
