El Catrin Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Copperas Cove

The food was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable. Their margaritas were awesome with a good price. They have the best tacos I’ve ever had, and that saying a lot. I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in my time. There were homemade and absolutely delicious. The tacos were fresh and very crispy. I ordered the combination plate which included a taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans and, it was amazing. If you what a Taco, that is freshly made, definitely have one of their freshly made tacos. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Their service was excellent. Good enough that I left an extra tip. I recommend this place. You should all try it. Anybody that lives in Cove or Killeen should go and should at least try their tacos. You will be amazed. We were so hungry and everything looked so good i forgot pictures! Their good was top notch! We got 3 different things to share between 2 adults cause it all looked so good!

The burrito tornado was creamy with a nice little spice from the pico.

The ribeye was so well seasoned and topped that it is better than most steak houses around here! Flavorful and so tender!

The chimichunga was just amazing all on its own!

The chips, from what ive seen are controversal, there were some good and some bad in our bowl. No salt on it and some tasted slightly burnt.

Mediocre, bland, staff is standoffish and it took THREE tries to get my order right. Ordered a burrito and was clear no sauce, no salsa, no queso (due to stomach/dietary issues). Food came and there was queso. Waiter offered to remake it. Cool. Came back again......they literally wiped the outside of the plate and brought it back. There was still queso on the burrito and in the center. I explained that I cannot have queso and that this was the second time this has happened.
