Panda Express — Restaurant in Copperas Cove

Any other day I would have given this place a 5 star but I'm publicly doing a 1 star due to the unprofessionalism they carried today. I just got off work my kids wanted panda Express because they love Beijing beef and the rice with eggs in it so I go get them what they wanted. The line guy Conner got my food together and when it got to my daughter's teriyaki chicken he was going to give me the burnt bits at the bottom of the pan becuase both trays has run out ( dont know how that could happen being it wasnt busy at all hopefully higher ups look at the cameras , they could have easy had full trays of everything). The girl next to Conner said dont give her that chicken before I could say anything so he said it will be a 12 minute wait on the chicken and set the rest of my order to the side..... 20 minutes later the chicken is done I told them if the rest of the food is cold I'd like it to be remade it's not my fault I had to wait..... the girl name Kelsey which is i came to find out is the manager in training bagged my stuff up and rudely handed it to me i waited a couple minutes becuase i had not paid for the order. She never came back and Conner looked at me a couple times never said anything so i walked out with the bag hell if i waited that long u wasnt leaving without it. Nobody said anything as i walked out the door. I called the store to let a manager know what happened apparently she was on break and when the manager in training got on the phone she said there wasnt a real manager there so I told her I'd call back tomorrow and hung up the phone. Wouldn't recommend this place due to this instance and there was a guy named Collin in the back cooking the food and had his hands all over it...

The only reason this review gets a one star is due to the employees. I went through the drive-through and they were very quick. The young lady who gave me my food was beyond nice. She looked me in the eye, smiled and said thank you for coming. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a teenager or young an adult do that to me. Thankfully, I was so hungry that I went ahead and opened the box about a block away from panda. When I looked inside, I could see that I did not get the fried rice that I had ordered but noodles instead. Thankfully, I didn’t wait to open the box in till I got home… which is an hour and 15 minutes away. No big deal, mistakes happen. I turned around, and parked in the parking lot and walked in and explained the problem to who I think was a manager. He immediately said no problems and he went and got a box of rice for me. As I said above, I was hungry. So I opened that box of rice and took a bite. I could tell that they attempted to season it, but fell far short. I would much rather have had white rice since there was nothing appealing about their fried rice. So I tried the honey chicken and have eaten three or four nuggets and I’m still not sure that I’ve had any chicken in it. I’m pretty sure I’ve been eating batter. So I decided to try the noodles the race was not agreeable. I’m not sure what was wrong with them, but they were on the verge of being mushy. I do UberEats so we get paid per delivery completed. I had 2 different customers order from here and I'm there to pickup. Well I get there and yes there are alot of people in there waiting to eat. Now lunch time is usually 11-2 and most restaurants make sure they are set up and ready for the lunch rush. FOOD SHOULD BE READY TO SERVE... I (along with many others) spent 45 minutes waiting on the chicken teriyaki to finish cooking. Then finally got food and headed to deliver. On my 2nd delivery the customer said the kids meal wasn't there. So I go back to the restaurant (mind you this is all the way across to at the entrance into Cove)and let them know. The young man says oh yes its there I put it in a regular container because we didn't have any more kids packs (and why couldn't he have told me that when I pickup up so that I could tell the customer). So I drive clear across town back to customers house to let her know what they said and she said nope it is NOT here in any dish at all. I spentv2 hours dealing with this mess. I just paid the lady what a kids meal cost and I will deal with the restaurant myself. This is ridiculous and totally uncalled for. Talk about my nerves are rattled...yepper...
