Beach Books — Local services in Corolla

I was surprised and delighted to find so many good books in this quaint local bookstore in the middle of a bustling tourist attraction. I made a day trip from Nags Head to Duck and Corolla, and spotted this bookstore. To my amazement, it had lots of recent and current best sellers as well as historical and classic reads.

I was most excited about a book on the Romanovs and Russian (Bolshevik) Revolution, as I had just finished another book on the Romanovs two days before. They had all of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novels and the cover of Tender is the Night that I’ve been searching for. I grabbed a couple Greek mythology books, Arabian Nights, and The Yellow Wallpaper as well. There were a couple other books I wish I’d bought.

They also have cute cat/book totes in case you can’t carry all the books you buy.

I got all of the books I wanted and a few on my TBR. The owner was nice enough to reach out to his wife and ask her questions for me regarding Freida McFadden. He even looked for authors that I am interested in to see if his distributor had their books. My friend and I were so excited and pleasantly surprised because we missed this bookstore last year. I go to this shopping mall every time I go to Corolla. It was my first time stopping at this little book store on my most recent trip. The store blew all expectations anyone could have from a small book store. They had a huge selection of books from every genre of books. I did not expect them to carry manga but they did.
