Manteo location has rude staff. Two older ladies, one hovered near us at a table and walked up to the table while we were still looking and proceeded to unfold and refold shirts. Sighing and being rude while we were still at the table looking. Then we moved to another area. Same lady came over and said we needed to move so she could hang up shirts. Continued to huff and puff as we looked around the store. We proceeded to the check out and this older lady did not do any of the niceties that should happen at the register. She all but ignored us. Told us the price due and then talked to the other lady, never confirmed what money we handed to her. Never said goodbye or anything just tossed the receipt on the bag. If we thought we could have gotten the 2 shirts for our daughter elsewhere we would have walked out. My money spends just as easily at other OBX stores or Amazon and I can get similar items...

Stopped in this shop on our trip to Manteo. Absolutely loved the store as it is some really cute, great quality items. However, the staff that works there are extremely rude. I was planning on purchasing several items but didn’t because one lady that works there followed us around sighing and huffing with each item we looked at or touched. It was absurd. So i advise if you go to the store, don’t touch anything or take any time to look at the items. Also, my sister in law went back on the store and the employees were talking about my mother in law. Quality of the products are as terrible as the attitudeof the older woman working the store. Purchased two shirts and a sweatshirt. Discovered that the picture on one of the t-shirts is not centered on the shirt front. The other tshirt developed holes after two months. The hooded sweatshirt discolored and is shorter on one side. We've never had anything like this happen to clothing items from our trips to OBX. I have tshirts purchased at Kitty Hawk Kites that still look good after 15-20 years.
