It's been a while since I last visited here, the place looks good and the staff is attentive, even with the lunch-dinner rush. Joy my server was a joy to have. I was going to go A la Carte but decided on the AYCE for dinner instead (40.55$). Began with an Asahi Beer (BOGO for 1$). The Miso Soup was hot and delicious, Shrimp Tempura was battered just right and made fresh. I always have the Baked Green Mussels they have a way of preparing you for the meal to come. Admittedly, I will say that the Tuna and Salmon Nigiri was a bit dry. BUT the Squid and Shrimp Nigiri were great and A+ on the Cherry Blossom Roll (HON SPECIAL-FERSURE).
Moving on to the second round: The chicken in the Teriyaki Chicken Roll was chewy and the Baked Shrimp Tempura Roll was overstuffed with Cream Cheese making it heavy on the stomach. On the contrary though the Inari Sushi was a sweet and a pleasant surprise! (I suggest you try it). The Halibu Nigiri was not as fishy as one would think and pretty nice. The Baked Salmon Skin Roll was as expected and had a nice balance of charred smoked skins and fresh microgreens dressed with a lightly sweet sauce.
To finish the meal, I ordered Gyoza, another order of Shrimp Tempura and Garlic Edamame. All of which hit the last craving space I had left in me. I left stuffed and content that I had tried a bit of everything in the menu and even some new things.
The atmosphere is clean and nice, they play catchy music and keep the vibes going. I definitely will be coming back to try more items and I suggest...
Read moreWent to Dinner with my family of 5. Decided we would all eat AYCE, even the children. Paid the $40 but when we saw the menu selection...it was very limited.. so we decided to go for the "specialty" $50.
We've have visited many AYCE places,so we understand only to order what we can eat to avoid the extra cost.
Ordered the first round, took about 28 minutes... sure ok, it was devoured within 5 minutes. So we ordered our second round..took about 35 minutes... by this point the children and adult were growing frustrated and hungry!!! Since they just scratched the itch of hunger. When we received our second round of food, many of the appetizers were missing so we had to wait longer for those!!!
We ordered the 3rd round...and no joke, it took 45minutes!!!..... ridiculous! I've never waited so long for a round of sushi. ...mind you, we were not the only ones waiting and growing frustrated..they weren't even packed with people. We left hungry and frustrated... couldn't order another round..to wait an additional 40+minutes... ridiculous.
Reason why?? They continued to state, that they had to take care of the outgoing orders that people ordered online first before taking care of their customers... wow!!! Seriously?!... never again will we go to this sushi spot... worst customer...
Read moreI honestly don't know what all the fuss is about, this place is probably one of the most functional Sushi Joints during this covid era, that still offers a variety of items with all you can eat. Me and my partner ordered the all you can eat B which comes with just about everything sushi. The sashimi are very well cut and I absolutely adore the tempura sushi roles. Some of the appetizers were a bit iffy the first round like the fried calamari being a bit dry. However the second round of calamari was redeemable with a crispy hot crunchy texture to em. The appearance of each dish brought to the table were well crafted. I do admire how no matter what you ask for they ensure no different rolls are thrown together on one plate. The total between me and my partner was a lil over half a Benjamin and I feel we both had more than our money's worth. I reccomend going when it's early or a lil later to avoid flies, however they do have these high powered fans blowing which seem to be efficient enough if ur closer to the fan. Favorite items (Tempora Tiger, Baked salmon roll, salmon sashimi, albacore sashimi, Volcano roll, Tropical roll, and lastly...
