Hi everyone, I got my hair done here at beauty avenue in August of 2024. This salon Over-processed my hair and chemically burned my scalp, I am writing this out of concern of anyone else having to go through this. My scalp was in pain for over 4 months. I had to have another hair dresser with 27 years of experience under her belt look at my hair, she informed me that the reason I was in so much pain and that my scalp was completely numb for over 4 months was because this salon burned my scalp, sent me home with a chemical burn, said nothing to me about it & still charged me $300. they never reached out to check on me either, when I mentioned to Serenity that my scalp was burning at the salon i Was told that I was fine and that “what happened to my hair when I went home is what happened to my hair when I went home” I hope this never happens to anyone else and I want to share...

I have been going to Karen for over two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with her work! She colors my hair every month, and it always turns out amazing. I totally recommend this salon to anyone who want to have an amazing experience in a luxurious salon. It is very beautiful inside and out! It is also located on the South side of Corpus Christi! It is very easy to get in and out of this location! Plus the girls that work here are very sweet and are very welcoming!! Karen was so sweet and fit my sister and I at the same time very last minute!! It was really cool getting my hair done with her! Karen did an amazing job on my balayage and hair cut!!
