Today was our first visit. We came for lunch at about 1:00. The dining room was empty, so obviously there was plenty of parking and plenty of seating. I believe people just haven’t discovered this place yet. I ordered the.#3 Combo which came with two chicken tenders and fries. With the chicken tenders, you can get two different heat levels and two different sauces. I chose to get one tender with the hot and one tinder with the habanero. The sauces I chose were the Chickie Chickie and the BBQ. First off the chicken tenders were a good size fried perfectly, and came out hot and tender. The spice level of the hot tender was warm, but not too hot. The habanero was a good step up and it had my nose running a little bit and my eyes sweating, but it was still tolerable and I believe I would order that one again. But as hot as the habanero was, I don’t think I am brave enough to try the ghost pepper or the reaper. The Chickie. Chickie sauce is a seasoned mayonnaise based sauce and helped provide a small level of comfort as the heat of the spices built on you. The.BBQ sauce had a very nice flavor and was not sweet and was a nice compliment to the chicken. The french fries were OK, they came out hot and not greasy. There are many restaurants that advertise hot this or hot that and majority of the time I am disappointed. If you are a fan of the heat, then you have some good choices here. We look forward to coming back and trying some more of their menu items. The dining room was a good size, the place was clean, and the staff...
Read moreSo yo listen up. I came to Hot Chicken Run because Popeyes service was down. I was in the mood for some chicken fingers with a kick and let me tell you I got more than just a kick. The service took a little longer than expected but I can see why I was being delayed from what was about to transpire in my short life. See I was feeling daring to get the Reaper but I decided against it because of Holy Discernment. So I went with the lesser evil, their Ghost Pepper. Boyyyy let me tell you that it got me in trouble in a hot minute! The dry rub style immediately punched me in the lip and I was sweating and cracking real tears. It had me drinking up all my drink, my wife’s drink, and her sockittome shake (which was the only saving grace cooling down the hellfire blazing in my mouth). Listennnn the chicken was flavorful and filling. The fries were a little cold but boyyyy I ended up paying the price at the end of the night. My guts got tore up and bodied like I got super kicked by a professional wrestler. After all that trauma I think I’ll be ready to do it again. Next time it’ll be the Reaper and I’m bringing my best friend...
Read moreWill definitely be back again. Chicken is so tender, and the spice level is a dry rub, so not vinegar-based and too saucy. Chicken would drip juice as you'd bite into it/pull it apart. I got the coleslaw on my slider, with liquid cheese sauce, and husband got Mac and cheese added to his slider. We love spicy food, and this spice is true to it's name. The hot was a good amount of spice, and husband got habanero and ghost pepper, and was sweating 🥵 Guy at the desk was very nice, explained how to order and answered all of our questions. Chickie chickie sauce is 'like chick fil a sauce', and boom boom is like the spicy version of it. To finish it off, I got the sock it to me milkshake, which my husband said he should have had while eating the spicy chicken. It tasted like a snickerdoodle milkshake to me: vanilla with a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg seasoning. Guy at the counter said it's a piece of cake that goes in there. Overall, great food, now I've gotta try the loaded fries with the...
