I went in to get my note 5 fixed because I been a customer for years getting my laptop fixed,so I trusted them. Ross the owner told me that it's going be another week to get the part. Im a patient and understanding person. I waited 2 weeks and when i got my phone they did a great job until I came home. My phone had a case,so when i removed it the back was completely cracked. I was shocked and disappointed. I would think they would notify me or know what their doing. I couldn't go back because i had to go out of town and work. I got in to town early in the morning today and the first thing I did was told myself is that their reasonable and they would do the right thing and fix what they did. Boy was i wrong. I went in and told them about the phone. One of the guy who worked their went in the back to ask Ross and came back and told me first that "that it was already like that". I told him that it's impossible because before I came in i removed my case and showed one of the workers the whole phone. The poor worker, or messenger i would say had to go back and deliver the news. Ross finally got up and told me that when he tried removing the back of the phone that he made only hairlines and the phone it self made the whole back of the phone crack. Even if that was true Ross could of done the right thing and say I messed up let me fix for what i did. Ross said he would have to order the part and i would have to pay for what he done. I became the bigger person and told him thank you for your business, but i could assure you that sadly this would be my last visit. This is my experience with Dr. Nerds and the owner Ross. I hope you don't go through the same experience i went through. Afterall, we the people help keep these buisness running.

Do not take your MacBook here. Not only did the person at the front desk outright say that he hated working on Apple products but they also bent the hinges on my MacBook during their repair. I sent in my laptop to get the screen replaced due to a crack and when I went to pick it up, the laptop itself wouldn't close all the way when set on the table and when I lifted it to put in my laptop bag, it opened even more. This was not an issue when I left my laptop with them, for I have only had this laptop for 3 months, so it's still relatively new. When I voiced concerns about the new issue, the only solution they gave was for me to leave it again with the technician. I had spent over $600 in repairs already. I wasn't about to leave it to get a problem they caused fixed and it cost me more money. It may have been faster and cost less than what Best Buy quoted me but now I have an entirely new issue that I didn't have before I left my MacBook Pro with them.

The only good thing I'll say is how fast they were to diagnose my issue: a defective motherboard. Probably because I paid the $168 upfront for expedited service. I have a two month old PC that I built from scratch, saved up over a year to get all the precise components for it. I expected techs that would appreciate a decent rig and would handle it with care. I don't expect pc techs to have people skills, but I do expect a product to be handled with care. I'm super angry that I got my brand new PC case returned with chipped/visible damage on the top and bottom framework. Imagine having your new car with a key scratch against the side. It's minimal, but darn it hurt to see my hardwork returned like that. I'll never bring my equipment here again, and would recommend anyone that has anything that's valuable to them to not bring their equipment here.

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! You will get swindled out of your money; my boyfriend purchased GPU from them under the impression it was functional (obviously because why would you purchase a $200 broken equipment) and after attempting to use it the device was broken. They're refusing a refund stating it was only available if I purchased the warranty regardless of the purchase being less than 10 days old and it being faulty. This is utterly ridiculous how can you claim to value your customers for over 20 years but are selling them broken equipment under false pretences and not publishing a clear refund policy. I would honestly take the yelp reviews into deep consideration before you shop here. They are not a good business; I'm tempted to take this as far as to civil court to resolve this because if they've done it to me they most definitely have done it to other people and last time I checked it's illegal to sell someone something under false pretences. If you're needing work done I highly recommend the 1Stop Tech shop if you're needing help not only are they affordable and will diagnose you over the phone depending the circumstances they also completely took care of us after Dr Nerd refused to help. Don't claim it isn't your fault when you sold him something faulty saying it worked 🤣 you told him it wouldn't have been on the sale floor if it wasn't functioning properly respectfully you didn't hold up on your word and as a reputable business should exchange it regardless of your refund policy. Regardless your claiming to have told him about a policy you never mentioned so unless you have a printed warranty policy available at purchasing it's just hear say and you are liable. Honestly your lack of accountability demonstrate who you are as a business. This problem could've been resolved with a refund or exchange of the item instead we need to do things the public way. So never fear I already reported this company to the BBB, so hopefully no one else puts their...

Unless you don't care about how much you spend then come to this place. Although if you want the best price in town do not come here.

DO NOT come here they overcharge. They will talk to you in a rude way including the manager, I only liked 3 of the workers there. ONLY 3 of them seemed to understand that what they were doing was wrong. I never write reviews but I believed this one was necessary so no one ever gets over charged like this again. They charge you for every little thing.

They charge $70 for a diagnostic and I recently found a place that does a diagnostic for free. They charge for a backup as well. Oh and lets just say they screw you over and you try and return it within their ridiculous 7 days return/refund policy... or better yet like I did the same day they will refuse or offer a partial refund. But here is the catch like in my case I paid $150 not including tax upfront for a part my laptop "needed" that ended up being completely useless for me and I explained and told them I want a refund they said they can only give me $20.

I would write the entire story but it is just too much to write. I would say get a diagnostic from somewhere else so you can weigh out your options. In my case, I would have been better off to go somewhere else and get a backup free of charge and get a new laptop than pay roughly in total about $245 on my laptop since they did not tell me the first time around what was wrong with my laptop when I explained to them what had happened prior to the port messing up.

In the end I payed for my laptop to get fixed because I needed it for work and here is the kicker about 2 1/2 weeks later my charger port was sparking even though they replaced it with a new charger port. Mind you I am not rough with my laptop, it sits on my desktop when I use it most...
