La Tequila Mexican Restaurant is hands down one of the best Mexican dining experiences in town! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy, perfect for family dinners, date nights, or casual outings with friends.

The menu is extensive and full of authentic Mexican flavors. We tried several dishes, including their tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas, and every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The presentation of the food is also top-notch, showing the care and attention that goes into each dish.

The signature margaritas freshly made, balanced, and refreshing, making the meal even more enjoyable. They were a little on the sweet side. I asked for a little kick but they were little on the weak side.. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was seamless, attentive, and personal. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating, answering all our questions and recommending dishes that we absolutely loved.

We have been here before , but we did not remember it. Well, there was a reason. We must have written it off to not return. I ordered a taco salad with ground beef , easy, right? Well , I mixed it up, and before I finished , it was a soupy MESS , I did not add salad dressing or hot sauce. I think the lettuce was WET to start , then add beans , sour cream , meat, the waitress said when I showed her and said it was like soup , way too much liquid, which I pointed out, told me it was the liquid from the ground beef??? OH, you mean the grease that was not drained.? Whatever it was, I sent it back. I did order the pastor tacos with Charo beans , no cilantro, just meat and onion. Here are the good things: the pastor was good if a little greasy ( even for pastor) , and you got 4 little tacos with only 2 tortillas each. Most places give you 5 ( too many for lunch), and most have way too many little tortillas. Now, for the bad ; I have never had street tacos with just chopped up white onion , it is usually grilled a little. I also did not care for the Charro beans , more liquid than beans, and not a lot of flavor, corn tortillas there are tough.Chips just ok , salsa good. After I sent back the taco salad , I did not see our server again , even my street tacos were brought out by the manager. I was out of water, and he did pour me a full glass , but it was not cold, and I had no ice. E for effort ,I guess. We decide to go have dinner for Father’s Day, everything was ok at the beginning the lady was super nice, slow but she was always apologizing because she was taking long, we where ok on waiting because we understand sometimes it’s not the waiter fault… ok food came and we order pizza for the kids, pizza was ugly not even worthy, kids didn’t even eat and my kids love pizza, my husband order a MOLCAJETE and it was OK meat a little burn, I order AGUACHILE, and while I was eating I found a ROACH 🪳 YES ROACH CRAWLING ON MY PLATE I decide not to say anything because let’s me honest that happen sometimes a least it wasn’t on my food, ok then i got up and another ROACH CRAWLING ON MY KIDS CHAIR ….. ok fine I did not say anything, but I was uncomfortable by that already,,,, ok ticket came and it was $179.00 and I pay $100 cash and decide to pay rest with my card he charge me $90 on my card I ask him why was that? and he said they charge a FEE TO USE THE CARD….. ok I understand but,,,,NO SIGN NOTHING TO BE AWARE,,,,, the CASHIER TOLD ME WELL THATS EVERYWHERE YOU GO,,,WE PERFER YOU TO PAY US CASH😑😑😑 I rarely carry cash but o well $12.00 to use my card it’s insane…..
