Fresh Donuts — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

My husband, 4 year old and myself wanted some fresh donuts for our Sunday morning breakfast. So we ordered two chocolate glazed, a chocolate sprinkle, strawberry sprinkle, apple fritter and Boston cream.

EWWWWW ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE ONES TASTE LIKE GASOLINE! Or nail polish remover. At first I thought it was just because they were beside the blueberry donuts but every single one that had “chocolate” on it tasted absolutely HORRID. We wasted our money on those and it was terrible disappointing for my daughter especially.

I was visiting Corpus Christi for a few days and discovered this local donut shop in the Flour Bluff area. They have the freshest and best tasting apple fritters and kolaches you will ever try! Plus, the staff is super friendly and very hard working local folks. They open at 4:00am every morning (which means they start baking at 2:00am), and that is painful to think about for a daily routine 7 days a week! BEST donuts in town! Iv had Shipley’s, gates, Krispy cream, island donuts, cc donuts, HEB, Walmart, and a couple of others. Non of the other places in town compare to these, they’re light fluffy perfectly glazed delicious donuts. The business is family owned, owners are always nice and friendly.
