Taco Bell — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This story begins with both me and my wife having a very long day. We didn’t want to cook, so we decided to go out. Taco Bell was first on our list. So Taco Bell it is. The one in Flour Bluff. As soon as we walked Up to the door. We were greeted by Harley as he held the door opened for us. That alone put a smile on our face. As we ordered, Harley started the order and Bianca finished the order. Both of them has us laughing. Our evening was getting better by the minute. Once we picked up our order, my wife forgot to ask about not adding sour cream to her meal. I asked Anna, the manager, if it was possible to correct “our” mistake. Without hesitation she took care of it. Anna is my hero, for my wife would of reminded me, repeatedly, that I have been with her long enough to know, that she definitely hates sour cream. I love Taco Bell, but service lately sucks. This last time I ordered thru the app and my husband went to pick up our order (we live 20 minutes away). He got home and my daughter's Dorito nacho taco was missing. This is the only thing she wanted so now she has no dinner. I called the store and they said they were sorry and that I could either drive back right then and they'd give me the taco (really? 20 minutes and gas to get the rest of my order) or I could come by later and they'd give me a free meal. I took the 2nd option because it was already 8 and I ended up making my daughter something else to eat (thus defeating the purpose of take out). I recently went to Taco Bell to order my guilty pleasure: Doritos Nachos Tacos. As always, they were very good. However, inflation has really hit Taco Bell hard. To my surprise, 3 of these tacos were over $10 with tax. Wow! That does not include anything else with the. Had I ordered a drink would have been closer to $13 or $14. Taking the cost of the food doesn't seem to justify three relatively small tacos. That's the only reason for the 4 star rating. I no longer eat at this location because of a homeless problem whereby they have these folks hanging out inside and it's hard to enjoy the meal tasted due to a pungent order in the restaurant.
