Whataburger — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I wasn't really hungry but felt like I should eat something so I pulled into Whataburger for something familiar. I decided on the garden salad without the chicken. By the time I had filled my cup with diet coke hey were bringing my salad out to me. I had my salad with thier lite balsamic dressing which isn't the best balsamic dressing I've ever had but it was okay for a lite dressing. The salad is actually a very good size, with a variety of fresh greens including spring mix and lettuce. There were also several grape tomatoes in there and shredded carrots, topped with cheese. For $4.99 it really is a decent sized salad. I ate slowly in the Whataburger dining room enjoying the conversation of the staff😆 it was a good lite meal that I will order again in the future. This particular Whataburger was very clean and well lit. The bathroom was also very clean. While there I overheard the manager giving instructions to the crew to clean various areas including scrubbing the walls in the kitchen areas. It is obviously a well run and we'll maintained restaurant. I will return to this...

RUDE MANAGER

Terrible service and management. Had to repeat my order three times only to have the order wrong as well as the drinks. I call the establishment and speak to the manager only to have to manager argue with me and make excuses as of why he couldn’t make the order correctly. The order was a honey BBQ chicken sandwich with honey-mustard instead of the bbq sauce and a side of ranch dip. He says he made the sandwich but he could not add the honey mustard because he didn’t have a squeeze bottle of it, even tho the bbq sauce is also in a dip cup. So, in conclusion the manager was too lazy to open up a honest mustard cup and pour it on the sandwich , he then tells me I wasn’t charged for the ranch, I’m literally looking at my receipt while talking to him on the phone and I was charged for the ranch. In all, if young kid manager wants to argue with me saying I didn’t pay for whatever and make up excuses to me then I don’t ever wanna eat at this whataburger again and I hope who ever reads this...

I’ve been eating Whataburger as long as I can remember(I’m 71) and they’ve always been my go to burger! That all changed when they sold out….they’re not the same anymore more! With that being said, living on The Island, they’re just too convenient so my wife and I still eat a lot of them…..that’s our choice to do so. What I don’t understand is why our WB on The Island has such a hard time getting an order right?? I’d say around 1 in 5 drive through orders are WRONG! I’m writing this after I just picked up an order only to get home and find out an item was missing! Should have checked it before leaving but I was by myself with people waiting in line…I guess I’m just venting because it happens so often but it sure seems like a simple thing to double check an order before sending it out the window! ...
