Atmosphere is what you would expect for a beach burger joint. Mainly outside seating, a few inside tables and bar stools. You have to wait outside in line to order at the door. You get a buzzer and pick up the food when ready. No wait staff. All of this is fine for the location, not a problem. We went at about 7 on a Friday night. Not particularly busy, only one group ordering in front of us. We are a family of six, big but agian this is a weekend/beach vacation spot for families. Most groups are our size so not out of the norm. We ordered 3 adult burgers(all how the menu states no specials or subs), 2 plain children's burgers and one child's nuggets and all waters. Our bill was a $100 and change. A little high but agian we are in a vacation spot, so not unexpected. What was unexpected was the 45 + minute wait for our food. This place only sells burgers, fries and nuggets, so not hard. We were missing 1 burger on the first round and one was wrong and cold. Took it back and the girl argued repeatedly with me about what was actually on the burger. The asked "what do you want me to do about it". We said "remake it correctly". She looked the plate and passed to kitchen yelling very rudly "remake this because he says it doesn't look right". Then when those 2 burgers finally came, they were wrong agian. And by wrong i mean not matching what the menu states. We just ate them anyway because it wasn't worth it. And there isn't an itemized receipt so no way to prove what we actually ordered. But agian we didn't change or sub anything and since when is it ok to rudely agree with a customer that isn't being rude to you. The burgers had no flavor except for the tiny amount of sauce on the bun. They were dry and nothing special. So in short the staff makes it not worth they...

Waited 50 minutes for four burgers that were cold, unseasoned, and dry. Bacon was not crispy at all and my other burger only had one mushroom on it. Horrible food and wait time is extremely long, I would not go here at all. For the price they are charging they should invest in actual quality food, because this was very disappointing and unacceptable. The only thing that was good were the french fries, and it's ironic that they were the only thing that was hot among all hamburgers that I ordered. Another tourist trap in the area that should be avoided at all costs!

EDIT: I find this very surprising that I was left with a reply from Padre Island Burger Company mentioning that my party made it challenging to provide service. Can you explain to me how waiting 50 minutes patiently for terrible food made it challenging to provide service? My party never complained to the staff about anything, all we did was wait outside at the table patiently until our food arrived. Can you tell me what my party did that made it challenging? The only thing I can imagine that prompted a response was that one member from my party had a refund for their chicken sandwich because it was horrible. Also, my name was never brought up when ordering/on the bill because I was not the one who paid, so how do you know it was my party that was being difficult and not creating a blatant lie to save your company? I understand that you don't want bad reviews, but creating false accusations against me is unacceptable!
