Update: Thanks to Arthur Ross, new manager of Corsicana Funtown, I am very happy to change my rating review from a one star to a three star. He is a man that honors his words. I went out of network with Forest Rivers to have my repairs done, that Tanner should have done. My out of pocket money was refunded! Thank you, Mr. Ross and corporate for restoring my faith in the decision of purchasing our motorhome from Corsicana Funtown. And thank you, Mr. Ross for your respect and apology!!
Update: 2/22/2025The ownerâs response below is generated, I believe, as it similar to others on Funtown Corporate page. STILL UNRESOLVED! Three months of trying to work with this unethical business. Probably wanting me to get tired and quit or wanting me to break my warranty. If they canât fulfill their responsibility now, more and likely my warranty is probably worth nothing anyways. Last person I communicated with was Scott Langford, đZone General Manager. Corsicanians BEWARE!!! FYILook at my previous/beginning review with Funtown Corporate office in Fort Worth. Update: As of now, The warranty has been updated (1/29/25), DMV in Corsicana stated that is the date when presented by Funtown, Corsicana for my plates, one month and ten days after purchasing the motorhome on 12/19/2024. The damage to driver side door is still being promised by Tanner Smith as well as seat replacement. In addition, Jimmy V. lied to me about the bezel rings on back taillights; If continued to be as is condition; there would more damaged if not replaced. Jimmy stated that it was normal/ standard and most of their products have the same issue. I found this issue out when Cleburne employee, Ashley Garcia asked us to bring in the motorhome to take pictures, this is the fourth employee to take pictures of the damages. Ashley asked the paint and body shop to examine the damages, as well as, Brandon, newly manager from Oklahoma, to assess the damages. Both Funtown RV employees, Brandon and body/paint shop, stated that it is NOT standard or normal and could possibly cause further damage to the motorhome. Brandon said that he should have an answer within three days⌠didnât happened. In addition, he was supposed to fix the backup camera as it was expelling a very loud rustling sound. I called Ashley and she said that they were awaiting an answer from Tanner Smith. I called Tanner, he didnât answer, but did call me back. When he called, he responded with the answer that corporate approved the repairs and approval for seat replacement was approved by Forest Riversâ employee, Kema Shorter. As of now, I have nothing from this unethical company, CEO and founder, Jarrod McGhee. What has been repaired was the awning over the slideout, which a screw came out, causing the covering to peeled back; in addition to the stripping seal for passengerâs side door. Tanner ended our call last Thursday, February 13, 2025 with wanting me to give a review for him and Funtown RV, promising that âI have always taken care of you and David and I will always take care and fight for you.â ????? I think, personally, that this poorly run business is trying to delay the rightfully repairs until my warranty runs out or until I will get tired and either break my warranty or forget about the whole ordeal.    Read moreThis was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in service. My husband and I purchased a brand new Durango Gold RV from Funtown RV and took delivery May 1, 2025. We paid over 80k for this unit. Within 2 weeks of delivery, 2 of the a/c units quit blowing cold air and there were a few small things on the punch list that needed to be fixed. We dropped off the RV on May 21, 2025 at Funtown RV in Fairfield for repairs. It took over 2 weeks before Funtown Fairfield ever filed the claim with the manufacturer. The service manager even told me to call the manufacturer myself to see if I could get them to expedite the process. Who tells the customer that they need to call the manufacturer? That is your job! They have now had the unit for almost 3 months. No repairs, no solutions and still no follow up. The only time we get updates is if my husband calls or goes up there. My husband asked if we could get a different unit when he spoke to the general manager and they said they could but we would only get trade in value for this unit. Are you kidding me? You have had it longer than we have. This is horrendous customer service in their service department. You all should be ashamed and embarrassed. As a business owner myself for over 20 years, I would never have any customers with this type of service. We are making payments on a unit we do not have, we have lost many deposits on rv spots because we have had to cancel reservations because we dont have the rv, we are paying insurance on something we don't have but most importantly we are missing out on experiences that we had planned with our grandkids.    Read moreMy Wife & I are looking for a Travel Trailer. We are headed to South Carolina tonight. I Texted Fun Town RV in Corsicana late last night and I got Micah the sales pro . He immediately texted me back and asked if I would like to text or call . I choose call and he did . He found out what We were looking for and sent some pictures and a credit application and got the ball rolling. He answered any questions we had. Micah understood we were a little short on time so he offered to meet us early this morning even before they opened. We met him this morning. Micah came out and welcomed us to Fun Town RV it was pouring down rain, so he went and got a golf cart for us to ride on and to look at the travel trailer he had sent pictures of. Micah is very thoughtful and dried off the wet seats. We loved the travel trailer, lots of space. Just what we were looking for. So Micah got Tanner, Logan & Sonny on board .We had a great experience and will refer all our friends and family. And plan to have many great years with our new Travel Trailer. If youâre in the neighborhood for a new or used RV or Travel Trailer stop by and give them a chance you wonât be disappointed..ask for Micah he goes...
