I generally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, my visit to this salon was extremely disappointing, both in terms of service and overall atmosphere. To start, I had requested round-shaped nails but ended up with square ones. I acknowledge that I should have spoken up sooner; however, by the time I realized, the technician had already shortened my nails too much to correct the shape. While that was frustrating, it was not the primary issue. What concerned me most was the customer service, particularly from the person at the front desk. Upon arrival, I was ignored despite this being my first visit, leaving a poor first impression. When my service was complete, this same individual approached me while I was still seated and asked for my payment method. Immediately after, he asked, "Just tell me how much you want to tip." I politely declined, saying ! preferred not to leave a tip. To my surprise, he returned shortly after to ask again, pushing for a tip. I fully understand tipping is customary, but I believe it should never be pressured, especially after a service I was not satisfied with. "No" should be respected without further questioning, and customers should not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed explaining their decisions in front of the entire salon. Additionally, the salon environment felt unclean and poorly maintained, adding to the overall negative experience. I am unsure if the person at the front was the owner or a staff member, but based on how I was treated, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this...

If I could give this salon 100 stars I would. My friend (who lives in Santa Ana) and I (who lives in laguna beach) met to get our nails done here for the first time upon reading others reviews and seeing photos. We were both wanted to do very detailed nail art.

We had Katie (me) and Key (her). They were both incredible nail artists. Quality, detailed, careful, patient. No half a**ing here at all. See the photos for yourself. We also had great pedicures at the same time so this was all done in the massage chair.

Mine are gel x “short almond” length. I wanted ocean inspired nails. Hers are builder gel fill from gel x. she wanted this bold color groovy style with this swirling snake. We both showed our inspo from Pinterest.

Wow, this place was awesome! I wanted to get my gel nails removed and went to Charming Nail Lounge in Newport. They turned me away and said since I didn't get them done their, they can't remove them. What a crazy excuse!!!!! Is that even a thing? Aren't they professionals and why does that even matter. So I had to look on Yelp for another place. So happy I came here, I had to wait cuz I was a walk-in but it was worth it because this place is so clean and neat and it was so easy to take my nails off. It costs $15 and she was very nice and thorough. I would actually consider getting my nails done here...
