Beach Hut Deli — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Love The Beach Hut! My wife & I have been a few times now. Love their Sandwiches! And everything we've explored thus far is absolutely delectable. Beach Hut is a Must try!

*They have a mini-merchandize section with frisbees, Psychedelic Rubber Pints Cups, Beer coozies, etc. *The Bar. It looks like it seats 8 people +/-. Indoors. *The outdoor seating has multiple tables, enough for a party of 15-20 & around 4-6 other 2 &/or 4 top tables. *I think! *Not a very big place but the food, fun in the atmosphere & the people makes it more than worth it --- It's makes it a regular Go-To spot! *The parking lot! Wasn't made well. They've tried making it more fluent but know this!! Be prepared to go slow, wait a little bit & inevitably, someone will pull out of their parking spot in front of you as another driver (who's turn it wasn't!) steals yr parking spot. ;-) Beyond the parking, it's an absolute must Go-to.

Visited this place for the first time Friday evening. Really great customer service! What really sucked though was what I’m guessing is a regular. This guy had his dog on a leash but it was roaming around and getting in the way of some older gentleman and they asked him to control his dog. Then the regular started getting loud and confrontational with this elderly man. This experience made that gentleman and his friend leave prematurely and I doubt they’ll come back. As for myself I probably won’t either. I like places that are dog friendly but those clients need to have their pets under control. Costa Mesa/Newport Beach, CA 📍hands down 10/10, food and experience. We stopped in here after the wonderful owner, Kurt, invited us down to try his delicious sandwiches! And safe to say we made the right choice. These sandwiches are huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. This location has been here since 2013, however beach hut has been around since the 80’s.
