Wow. This was a very disapointing membership. First lets just start with the fact this is my second round with ME. I truely understood the difficult process for quiting and or dealing with poor service.
I started at the irvine jamboree 405 location. The first visit was ok , however everytime i found any one good. They would be unavaible or leave permanently. I understand the covid issue. We all had to deal with things in are business,s.
I was unable to schedule appointments. I was cancelled over 80 percent of my visits.
I finaly had enough and after my 6 month was over i decided the purpose of ME was to reduce stress , not add more.
To my surprise. The irvine location closed , and i received the you are an important customer email. Lol.
After being told i cant schedule where i signed up, and still must pay my 6th month anyway. Lol
I decided to contact ME corporate to discuss my concerns. To my surprise. This is very important. They have been in so many lawsuits they advise you your on your own. We dont control anything or anyone. Lol.
To help others make a good decision let me provide a few concerns.
2)you will be rescheduled and have a hard time finding the right person. I really feel for the working staff, they are trying. They cant control poor ownership or direction
3)you will have no support from ME corporate. They hide and promote poor, unfair business practices. Google them and look at the long legal issues.
the 17th street location is nothing great. Old building and complex. Parking is good, trying to be positive.
the owner needs to learn what a customer is. To be fair many businesses have the same issue. So when you dont listen, and respect the customer, you wont have any.
So, to the owner, I have decided, you may enjoy my final monthly ME payment for yourself. You must need the money more than I.
I was advise i must use it or loose it in 60 days. I dont think its even worth using.

Read moreI have been having headaches for days from my tense shoulder and neck. I went there and got a massage from Nancy and my headaches were gone. Now they come back whenever I do sport but still, i used to have headache without even doing anything before the massage. The front staff was cool too and explained to me the process of getting a membership which i did get cuz my body seems to need massage regularly. I just wish they would have a system where you get reminder about your appointment since I almost missed my appointment.
Update: they do send a reminder the day before. I’m not sure why I missed the reminder at that time.
Update: I once again got my shoulders tensed up but this time I had a 30 min stretch session with Ervin. This was actually my first stretch session and I am impressed. The session was not long but Ervin did a lot in that short amount of time. I would not pick massage envy as place to get a massage because it costs twice as much for a massage at a different place (massage envy= 120$/60min other places= 50-70$/60min). Read moreThis location is the worst of the franchise. We came in (two of us) for deep tissue massage and had the worst experience. To begin, my therapist had no idea he had a massage and was late to my appointment. He then began the massage with ice cold hands which was very unpleasant. Neither one of the therapist were able to provide deep pressure during our massage as we requested when booking our appointments. I asked about 4 times during the massage for more pressure. The therapist would do it for a minute and then go back to lightly caressing my back. Then after the disappointing massage, I emailed them right away, they did not get back to me. After submitting the ME survey online, they finally reached out. They offered to make new appointments for us with "a better fit" therapist "and along with this a free 30 minute upgrade". The best part is that the branch is expecting us (yes, the dissatisfied customer) to pay for a new session to give them a second chance. They are really out of their mind!
