I had the most WONDERFUL experience with Trinidad ( Trini ). His vibe, his energy, his attention to detail & most importantly, his skill!!! He's such an amazing hair stylist. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Background: I dyed my own hair blonde from my natural Dark Brown color. Needless to say, I COMPLETELY ruined my hair. I had breakage throughout the top-mid sections & it felt so rough & stringy. I then began cutting my own hair. [I absolutely do not recommend anyone ever doing their own hair.] Usually my hair grows in quickly, but after I have extensively processed & chopped the hair unevenly; my hair wasn't growing as it usually does. Trini to the rescue. I sent him inspirational photos & what my hair currently looked like, but agreed to see it physically to decide what we could do about it. I was ok with having to go with a pixie cut or a short bob aline. This morning was my appointment. He was able to keep a lot more hair than I thought. He performed a few techniques & had my hair feeling absolutely soft & new. It's bouncy, it's soft & most importantly perfectly styled. He uses the Oribe line which he loves & recommended a treatment/leave in for me. I had to take it. This will most definitely keep my hair tamed & hydrated until our next appointment. Maintenance is key & I will do my part to get my hair at its best. &&& yes, I have my next appointment booked out as he books pretty in advance.

I wasn't going to write a review but since I've never heard back from the Salon after I told them what happened I figured I should leave a review. I got my hair colored and she completely ruined my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it wasn't even close. When I left the Salon my hair was so damaged from the bleach it was breaking off! The next morning I had severe burns on my ears and scalp because they left the bleach on for way too long. I even had to go to Urgent Care to make sure the Chemical Burns I had didn't scar.. When I called the salon asking to speak to a manager. I was told someone would call me back the manager wasnt availale. I called several more times and the same thing would happen this salon completely...

This review is based on my cut with Shelby Pence not the salon. I came in with long hair requesting a trim. I thought the consult with Shelby went great. She looked at my pictures, acknowledged that I didn't want lots of layers and we agreed on a 1/2 inch trim. I walked out with tons of short choppy layers (more than 2" off), thin looking hair and a $100 plus tip bill. I contacted Shelby following to express my concerns. She never responded. I would definitely not go to her again. She didn't follow through on what was discussed on the consult. Now I have hair I don't love which will take months or a year to grow out. I suggest seeing...
