Sanctuary Church — Attraction in Costa Mesa

I will share my experience as an Ecuadorian that had a traumatic experience in an Ecuadorian church, and at the time was skateboarding for over 10’years, so I decided to give up forever Jesus and Christianity and a whole. And to make it a bit fun. I was like. Ok! Jesus, I will google “skateboard church “ because that is my church! And guess where the SEO sent me! The website. And I was shocked! Okey then! I have a church, and I will go there soon! Forgot all about it. Few months later, I got invited to a skateboarding event, ran into Chris Hosoi, he signed some poster and wrote down the church address because I talked about the skateboard church. And I googled it again. Guess what! It was three hours away $180 Uber ride to get there! So I thought! I will go any minute now! I was visiting and staying around LA SKATE. And a girl in my Airbnb said, he friend is freaking out they lost someone in their office, and they had a position for exactly what I majored and I’m specialized and have worked over 20 years doing. So I took the job. Even as a tourist! Why! Because guess what is the first thing I checked! How far is it from the church! And there I was. One whole month. Every Saturday and every Thursday, I would $80 uber to bet there! Every single day it was life changing. Friends I made, mind blowing messages! Two guest pastors, one women’s conference! The employee was angry, he said I spend all I made on uber to get to the church, and he started denying my payment and then giving me a hard time. But what he couldn’t understand is, the only reason I was working all day 9-5 and accepted the job was to do that! Go to church. I was so penniless when pastor Chris said to show up on Monday to skate the Vans OC I noticed it was a two hour walk, and I missed that opportunity, and was I fit enough and skating every day to walk to the vans OC! yéS, but I was scared’ did I got scared to move to another strangers town, and risk my visitors tourist visa and spend all this money to listen to pastor Jay and feel home’ NO! That is Holy Spirit moving in our lives because he has a plan for our lives and wants you to sit at the Sanctuary with an open heart and give your life to Jesus! I met so many amazing people, I never built the courage to say thank you and walk up to Pastor Jay. And my last day in the USA, was magical. I went to church. It was full moon and a lady came to me and said she needed to pray for me. And she prayed and spoke and prophesied and she had knowledge from the spirit and she said that Hod told her I was oppressed, and I broke down and this facts came out of my milita that I was not safe at this job or this house of the employeee and I was suffering, and well , she prayed for my freedom! And something lifted. A backpack, rocks, heavy burdens I was carrying since childhood, she nor only freed me from my momentary oppression but took all my shame, all my negativity away I was healed, I was lifted and I heard Holy Spirit tell me. It’s time to GO HOME. Same night I texted the employer, told him I was done, and he stole all I had, and I was so annointed every time this guy would snatch stuff from my bags, I would say, what the enemy takes away, Jesus will give me back 100fold. And this guys girlfriend that came with me few times to the Sanctuary called and said she will stay on the line because she was scared something might happen to me. Well. I great aunt in Ecuador had a dream to call me and ask me when I needed my Open Plane ticket for a setting a date to go back home. And before my phone was stolen that same moment! She got me a ticket for the very next day.

So if you have a legal job, own your own car, live close by to the church, just go. Do it for me. I have not missed one or 5 Sundays throughout this 8 years far away from the sanctuary. Online...

I started my walk with God 6 years ago. Around 2019-2020 I saw Christine Caine at my old church and said that’s what I want! It was a fire full of authority and power. I started praying for God to lead me to where he wanted me to be. Through the pandemic I continued to serve and the church I attended when I began my walk but I kept having this feeling like it was stifled, stuck, stagnant. Eventually I stopped going and stopped serving. I still loved God, read my Bible , did the plans, meditated on His word watched other online services.

Fast forward to end of 2022, my friend invited me to her church, she said it was in Costa Mesa (anywhere from 40-60 min from where I live) and I was like Heeeeck to the no no no!! She invited me again I said it again HECK NO!

I clearly heard in my head you’d drive to Costa Mesa for your ex . But you won’t drive for me ? That Thursday January 12, 2023 I went! Been going Thursday’s and Sunday’s ever since . The fire, and presence of God is there. The worship is REAL!! Not actors on stage. The community is REAL . The Sanctuary was an answered prayer!
