I have never left a review before, but I realize how hard it is to narrow down the search for a hair dresser, and I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the same experience I did at this salon.

I made an appointment with Brittan on 10/8 for a partial base and highlight touch up for an upcoming work event. The day of 10/8 she rescheduled my appointment on me with no reasoning to 10/10. She was then over 30 minutes late to the rescheduled appointment.

I reached out to her 24 hours after the appointment because my hair color towards my root line was off and inconsistent with the rest of my hair, and the amount of regrowth at my root looked like I hadn’t just gotten my hair done. I asked for a few extra highlights around my face to correct the color of the front of my hair to at least get me by until my next appointment.

It took four days and multiple texts to get a response, but I finally got an appointment on 10/17 to color correct my hair, the day I was flying out for my important work event. Day of 10/17 Brittan texted me canceling the appointment and telling me I should find someone else to fix my hair.

In the 10+ years I have been getting my hair done, I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and disrespect to my time as a paying client. Fortunately a hair dresser at another local Orange County salon who was mortified by my experience fit me into their busy schedule to color correct my hair...

I want to thank Audra not only for saving my hair, but taking me on a same day appointment right before an important weekend event I had. My previous perm (with another hair salon) permed my hair completely flat... so I found Uncaged and reached out. I dont know much about hair care and have never done a perm before this instance in my life, and wasn't aware of the chemicals in the solutions and how it could burn my hair off and all that crazy stuff. As if I needed that after my unfortunate experience with the other salon.

Audra reached out, found what solutions were used and as a precaution, did a test strand before diving right in. Keep in mind I had my hair permed flat literally the day before. If it wasn't for her expertise, attention to detail and kindness, I don't know what I'd do.

Wherever my stylist goes, I will follow! Brittan is my gal and her service is always top notch. She makes sure I'm satisfied with the end result no matter how light or dark I go and keeps tabs on at-home care to ensure longevity and integrity of my hair. The care goes beyond the chair, which I am very appreciative of.

Upon entry, the salon is super bright and poppin'. The floor to ceiling windows allow for natural light to come through and the salon is typically busy every time I come for my appointment.
