Do not rent at this facility, many units do not have floor to ceiling walls, leaving your belongings vulnerable to theft without evidence of tempering with your door/lock/hasp. I will give you the hint that because someone has discovered how this loophole works, Extra Spaces property and “theft” insurance will not cover your loss.
I showed up three times in two weeks, after my loss occurred, to find that one of the loading dock doors was locked into the open position before employees were even in the office while construction was being done on the roof. Absolutely anyone can access this facility off the street at times and just climb over and steal anything that can fit between the wall and the ceiling, which is up to almost 2 feet for some units. No internal cameras exist.
Rent here if you like to show up to your storage unit and have to figure out what’s been stolen.
EDIT: the number the business provided was the local number which produced no resolution or progress with them having little to no interest in hearing from me other than to say that they only told me to call to actually confirm I had filed the denied insurance claim. The business also stated in the denial of claim that no other party was subject to loss, but without them actually contacting every unit holder, they wouldn’t know that, especially with the high chance that there are units that have not been accessed...
Read moreUpdated review 2 stars: yesterday I received a call from Meena, the assistant manager. She was extremely rude and sounded like she was very upset over an incident that occurred with my unit. I agreed to get everything resolved but she was so emotional/upset she refused to work with me and told me she was removing access to my unit. I couldn’t believe the way she was treating me, and although I remained calm I was not able to communicate with her effectively. I would have given 1 star but Jamel, the Manager, called me and was able to resolve the situation in a very professional manner. It concerns me as a customer that Meena has the word “manager” in her title. She was far from a good representation for this business. I will most likely be closing my account after this month and find a new storage unit to give my business to.

I was a customer for several months and encountered a major issue where my unit was at risk of being closed and auctioned off without my knowledge. Naturally, I went into a frenzy stressing about what I would do to cover the debt and recover my precious beloved items. I even toyed with the idea of letting it all go, family heirlooms and sentimentally valued items included but thankfully I did not have to.
Stephen was able to work with me so that I could clear the debt and recover my items, and offered an extremely sympathetic and compassionate ear and advice alongside the service. feeling like a chaotic burden, he assuage my worries and made a nightmarish situation into a walk on the park. I walked in almost with tears, and walked out with a smile on my face and restored hope for humanity. This man is truly a gem and an asset to the ExtraSpace Storage team.
