Fort Lincoln Park — Attraction in Washington

Of all the parks in the vicinity, this has the most potential, but it is perpetually filthy and trashed. There are at least 6 really interesting large gazebos, a small playground, and cool structures for climbing. Sadly everywhere is covered in trash and frequently broken glass. I terrified about bringing kids or dogs here because of the fear of stepping ok something that requires a trip to urgent care.

The place is rundown, and needs care and attention. It's a shame that it's so well designed, the architectural perspective ahead of its time and a can be your own little hideaway. You can see most of DC from it, and the trees tell a story of its own. But litter is everywhere, the cemented walkways need repair because the roots have taken over. It's such a great overlook, that I wish the neighborhood residents take it upon themselves to take it to its original glory and make sure it...

This is a nice little spot to have a get together, they have outlets, a field at the back, multiple tennis courts and a kids play area. There is bench seating, but you would have to bring your own tables. If you are having an event then a permit will run you $25 dollars and hour, but if it is over 6 hrs then you don't have to pay anything after 6hrs, just schedule your time slots.
