KFC — Restaurant in Cottonwood Heights

Had to get me some yummy KFC. I stopped in; normally I just hit the drive-through, but I'd been in my work van all week. So I went into the lobby, which was kinda busy. I'm getting a little impatient, thinking, okay, I'm just gonna go elsewhere. Then I got a very nice young lady who asked me how I'm doing. I was about to be annoyed and say something about the wait time before I could say a word; I had this sense of peace come over me. Destinee was the employee who approached me. With her smile and simple kindness, she just made my day. I got my food - yummy! As I was leaving after eating my lunch, Destinee sent me off with again a simple farewell, smile, and kindness. I wish I'd had more time to chat. As I was eating, I had noticed she was helping others the same way. You guys are lucky to have someone like that working for you; she was genuine. You know, it seems like the simple hello and smile have left our day-to-day. I had a few stops before the end of the day and gave a quick howdy and a smile at my bank and next couple of interactions. i ordered 20 piece hot wings and the employee said it will take 10 mins. Ha 10 mins more like 30 mins. That point my mom was really mad because she had to return to work. After all we were the only ones there so it shouldve not been a huge. What a joke... Another reason why i give this place the rating i did was when my mom ordered a family fill up with just the drums but i guess the people here only care about themselves because the said they cant do that only when its close to closing time so they told her to wait :( My mom got really mad and started to yell at the employee and gave them a reasons why they should run their buisness better such as... cooking the chicken before hand when they see that the stock of cooked chicken is low so then they wouldnt have their costomers wait same thing with other things they sell but guess not. Sometimes i would visit to see if they have improved but nope no progress so i would recommend to go to another resturant...

We have gone to this KFC for 3 years now. We never expect much, it is just fast food. Today we go into the drive-thru and ask for "Just thighs and legs." Manager: "You just want dark meat?"
