Had a "blast" with the flower manager. Spent a few minutes picking the right bouquet for my house and eventually picked one up. I noticed part of the bouquet was completely crushed so I asked the lady working in the flower station if it's possible to replace the bad part. Immediately got yelled by her "DON'T DRIP WATER ALL OVER THE OTHER FLOWERS". I apologized and readdressed my question, she then said "that's how they come in and that's what you get". Again, yelled back at me. At that point I was annoyed by her attitude but decided to proceed with the purchase. A guy also working at the flower station walked over and pointed me to the fridge in the back, tried to help me pick a similar bouquet that's not damaged. We had no luck, so he offered $1 off. The whole time the lady was working in the back, did nothing but yelling at me. As I was walking out of the store, I decided to go back and let her know it's not ok to treat people that way, as she was not very nice to me the whole time and she ruined my good mood to buy some nice flowers. She said "oh really? I helped you get what you wanted didn't I? I'm the flower manager here".
I don't know how much customer experience is valued at GE, apparently not much at all. The guy who helped me should be promoted to manager, not the grumpy lady that yells at the customers when they did...
Read moreNeeded an ingredient for holiday recipe, I only brang $5.00 for which I thought would be enough for the cost to purchase item, get to cash register and items rings for more, confused, I started to walk away without purchasing the ingredient, but I explained to cashier that I believed the items cost less. Before hand I had overheard another customer looking for an ingredient and the ask for assistance from an employee that worked there, the employee was very informative and found a substitute. While I was looking for my item a customer stop me and ask if I knew if the store carried a certain item, I then replied, " no" , but I overheard an employee help out another customer. I found that employee and notified her someone needed her help. Like I said before I started to walk out the store when I saw that same employee who was so eager to help customers, I thought, "maybe she could help me?" I called upon that same employee for her assistance, she was as eager to help me as did the other customers , need to say I had enough to purchase the item which had been mispriced. I didn't get her name and now that I think abou it, I should have, because she deserves to be honored as a "GREAT" employee of the year! Thank you great employee...
Read moreJust shopped there today I like giant eagle but not the shopping center for parking. Beware the chief of police of Ingram scouts the place out circles the shopping center to see if your parked illegal. Do not park behind get go in that space there arent any no parking signs there but faded white lines. I was caught this morning and warned not to park there I would have my new car towed.I've parked for years there didn't want my car scratched or dinged. Wasn't a pleasant encounter. So guess what I won't be down there anymore. Let this be an eye opener for everyone who goes in that shopping center. Giant eagle give a 10. The center itself a zero. You may want to think twice before shopping in that shopping center you never know where he will pop up. He was waiting for me and all of a sudden he popped out of no where. There were absolutely no signs saying don't park there if there had been I would have never parked there I don't want a ticket. I am and always will abide by the law. I have respect for the men in blue. Our police dept is Awsome here in Carnegie. Our chief is superb. He is well liked by everyone. So watch out all my friends when you go down Ingram shopping center you never know....
