Pizza Palermo (Crafton) — Restaurant in Crafton

Hello! I had an unpleasant encounter with your staff at the Crafton location. I placed an online order and paid by card. I get a call about my order about 10 minutes after placing it. To my surprise it was the order taker/cashier person calling to ask me if I was going to tip the driver. The driver insisted on the young lady calling me and asking that I gave him a tip before he delivered my food, because “this was his last stop of the night.” Mind you this is all taking place in between 7-8pm. I found this incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Highly rude and insensitive to have the audacity to call anyone’s phone asking about a tip on a service that has not been, to my knowledge completed at the restaurant. To me that means so many things. What if I didn’t give the amount they expected and they tampered with my food? Completely out of line to call a customer and ask for a tip before you give a service. I have never in my life had this experience. I have plenty professional years of customer service as well many years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Specifically being a hostess and server/waitress. I know what customer service looks like and how it is handled. Thank you for the good times, but I suggest you fix your staff. Very bad business practices. Please have my refund in my account. I know that the calls are recorded so we can pull the tapes just so you can hear how foul your employees truly are.. I’m sure I’m not the only one they called. Oh and one last thing. I was waiting to get my receipt which I also never received to sign and tip once I had my food. I also had cash on hand to give....
