The Martinez Company — Local services in Crandall

I have documents to prove this company failed numerous city inspections and couldn't follow simple directions layed out by an engineer. They poured concrete over sprinkler valves after charging to relocate them!!!! When I contacted the owner Jorge he responded with aggression. Worst contractor I have worked with and we've been doing this since 1983. They don't deserve the one star but that's as low as I can go, unfortunately. I hope my experience will save someone from the problems that comes with Jorge Martinez!!!!

This guy also went on to make numerous homophobic and very graphic text about me being gay. This is a bad business man and a terrible person with no character.

Response to their response. Not only is this guy a bad contractor but he's a liar too. J.J.s Acoustics is a second generation contractor started in 1983 by my (daddy as he put it) and all of our work is in Park Cities, you dont work there by being shady!!!! Thats whyyou won'tsee him in Highland Park or University Park again. Back to the issue, I would not call him out to fix a problem that they hid until getting paid and off the job!!!! If he stood by his work he would have said send me the bill or let's meet out there so you can show me what the problem was. His first words to me over the phone was " shut the F-UP" and I'm the one with anger issues. He's acting like a victim when I have the texts to prove what kind of person he is. He threatened me over text and I responded with anger like anyone would. It's funny that he lies and tries to use the race card. I want him to say what he text to my face. That is him trying to get away from how bad of a contractor he really is. It not just me THE CITY FAILED his work. The only way he passed was buy me reading what the engineer required. The changes to the report have nothing to do with his work. He is a concrete contractor and is trying to blame me for his failings, I'm a General Contractor and I hire people who are supposed to know how to do their job. Stay away from this guy, The Martinez Company gets 👎👎👎. BEWARE BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE COMMENTS, HE DOESN'T TAKE ANY KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY!!!!

The Martinez Company has definitely put a smile on my face from beginning to the end of my patio project. The crew was very professional and kept me informed throughout the project to ensure I was pleased throughout the entire project. Th work area was kept near and an order the entire project. They cleaned the work area at the end of each day. Once the project was completed his son conducted a tutorial of the ceiling fan and light to ensure I was aware of all available options on the remote control. I love the details of the wood and the finish patio looks beautiful and seamless. 1st, I take full responsibility..I got so frustrated with the weeds in my flower beds around my trees that I bought round up concentrated to kill them. Yes, I destroyed my yard as well. Mr George to the rescue!! After performing a soil test kit, I was ready to plant. Mr. George and his team came out and carefully planted me some st Augustin grass. He suggested I bring my fence line up on the side of the house as well. I am over the moon with joy. Complete transformation.. Mr. George Martinez and his team was sent from God to me.
