No sweet tea. Queso was bland and watery and came out so scorching hot we could barely eat it. There were only 4 other tables there at noon on a Friday (all 2-3 ppl tables) yet it took 25 mins to make a plate of nachos, which came out covered in jalapeños. When I said I didn't want jalapeños she asked if I told her that when I ordered, which I did not because it did not say anywhere on the menu that nachos came with jalapeños. She then checked the menu and saw that I was correct and asked if I could just pick them off, but I was sharing with my 5 yo who does not like spicy stuff so I said no I need a new plate and she seemed very irritated about it. It then took another 15 mins to get the new plate of nachos and they barely had any toppings on them and the chips were soggy. This is my 3rd time here in the 7 years I've lived out here, and all 3 experiences have been like this. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but it's now obvious this is their standard service and quality. I'm giving 2 stars because the cheese they used on the...
Read moreTook my dad here for his birthday on 5/13/23, and the whole family loved it! The waitress was very attentive, and anything extra we asked for was brought to us quickly. We loved this quaint restaurant and will definitely return.
EDIT: I returned to this restaurant on 7/3/23, and I had to change my review. The waitress we had that day was rude and would walk away while we were still talking to her. Granted, she was the only waitress working, so we could be understanding in her grumpiness, but there was only one other table besides my mom and myself. When we would ask for things, she would get an attitude, and it was honestly so uncomfortable. The food was subpar, and quite frankly, our whole visit was a waste of time and money. We're pretty sure our waitress overcharged us on the ticket, but her handwriting was so sloppy that we really couldn't make sense of what we were actually charged. On the plus side, the young lady who cashed us out was really friendly. In the end, we will not be...
Read moreThis restaurant has it ups and downs. There are dishes that definitely need work as well as dishes that are worthy of three stars. Menu items #51 & 52 seem to be consistent in their quality and are dishes that I would recommend. Their fajitas are ok but one can definitely find better in the area. No alcohol sold here; therefore, no margaritas or beers. Soda drinks are sold by the can with no refills. However, their iced tea has been consistently good. The complimentary salsa also has consistency issues ranging from level of heat, taste, and chunkiness. The squirt bottles have a tendency to get plugged and creates a mess when a chunk of tomato or onion finally breaks free. As far as service, it really depends on who waits on you. They have servers who shouldn't be waiting on customers at all because of their attitude and lack of...
