Rodriguez Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Crandall

Wait staff were all busy sitting in a corner booth, laughing, on their phones, eating, etc. rather than being more mindful of their customers. I was wondering if mine would know how to be a good waitress from the beginning. 1.) I asked her for a glass of water with lime on the size; I got a lemon 🍋, not what I asked for = X. 2.) My basket of chips 🍟 was mostly broken, little chips; she should have paid attention to this and be mindful to get a basket of chips where MOST are whole = X X. 3.) I had to get her attention to get the check and take home items but she was too busy cutting up with the other waitstaff to notice I was waiting on her = X X X and she's out!! I asked for something to take my leftovers home in: chips, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, etc. She brought me 2 Styrofoam take home boxes and 1 had the corner split, top to bottom. I put my fajitas and tortillas in it and when I got home I picked it up and the split became a huge gapping hole and my fajitas and tortillas fell out onto the ground! The meal I just paid $13 for (I ate 2 pieces of meat @ at the restaurant with 1 tortilla - I don't eat much and the rest ended up on the ground due to the broken/split box) = X X X X = 4 strikes, definitely NOT a good score for the young lady.) Good food. Horrible wait staff filled with underaged girls who charge $15 for a half poured single shot of Crown. I've been here twice and the first time I was charged $90+ for 3 shots of Crown. Normal sized 1 ounce shot glasses. We went back today. The 16 to 18 year old staff not only made rude comments at me and my girlfriend but they also made jabs about our "old" appearance as well. The very poorly educated and supposed bartender also shook a jigger in front of me several times as she wanted to show me she poured an entire ounce into my $15 neat glass that should have been about twice filled. If you would like to come here, expect a poorly trained bartender and a few high school kids tending to your bar needs while talking on their cell phones and making fun of you (supposedly behind their backs). Went there this afternoon after my son's soccer game. We where one of 2 tables in there. The floors where nasty today granted they may have had a rush just before we arrived but when we pulled up there was only one table there already eating. I told my wife what me and the son wanted to drink. Went to the restroom to let the son pee and wash our hands no one acknowledged my wife and daughter. While we where in the restroom. Sat there for another 5 min and still no services someone started cleaning the table next to us and walked away then then I saw a server look at us and I motioned no one has helped us and he says nothing and walks away. We left and went some where else. This place does have good food but the customer service lacks everytime we go there.
