Walking into Misty’s Sweet Treats Bakery was like stepping into a sweet goth heaven—the vibe immediately caught my eye. Misty and her husband were so kind and welcoming; we ended up chatting about family and vacationing, which made the experience even more personal. It’s rare to find a place where you feel like a friend rather than just another customer, but this bakery nailed it. The window art is amazing, and Misty even gave me a sneak peek of the Valentine’s Day designs! I can’t wait to come back and grab the cookies and rice crispy treats that will feature some of that incredible art. Misty is so cool, and I absolutely love their passion for Halloween. It’s refreshing to see them bring that spooky vibe into a bakery—a space that’s usually all frills and pastels. I picked up a 4-pack of cake balls and the brown sugar peach cobbler. As we chatted, I jokingly asked Misty if they had coffee, and she went above and beyond—offering me a cup from her personal Keurig! 🖤 Moments like this are why I’ll be coming back.

As for the treats:

Chocolate Strawberry Cake Ball: Perfectly moist with a natural strawberry flavor—not that artificial taste you often get. The balance between the soft cake and hard chocolate coating was spot on.

Wedding Cake Ball: The white chocolate coating was thicker than the dark chocolate on the strawberry, but it worked beautifully with the French vanilla flavor. A delightful surprise!

Lemon Cake Ball: As a lemon cake fanatic, I was thrilled with this one. The thinner white chocolate allowed the lemon flavor to shine. It was so good I’m glad I got two!

Brown Sugar Peach Cobbler: I’m usually a lover of crust, but after warming it for 30 seconds as suggested, this cobbler was a fantastic alternative to my mom’s recipe. The warm, brown sugar flavor with the peaches was absolutely divine.

I went to this bakery to get a brownie instead of cake because I don’t like cake and I wanted it decorated like a cake for my birthday, which is an odd request, but they were so kind to agree to do it for me and we agreed on a design. The design that we agreed on I wasn’t fully in love with because I wanted something a little different so I talked to the wonderful girl that was going to decorate it for me and told her look I want a little extra. I want a little different I want certain things done a certain way, and she absolutely agreed and said she would surprise me which made my life easier because I like that I like surprises and I was giving her a lot of trust and creating a great birthday brownie cake for me. Let me tell you when I saw this cake at pick up. I got so happy, excited grateful, and just fell in love with how amazing it came out the little details of the dried blood splatter along with the fresh dripping blood from the knives. Absolutely perfection the knives stayed hard the entire trip just all the little details that they fully came through and absolutely exceeded expectations. I am so happy with going to this bakery and discussing with them beyond happy with the price beyond happy with the service I will continue to go to them For the foreseeable future! First of all… Look at how BEAUTIFUL our cake ball wedding cake was!!😍 Second of all, the flavor was AMAZING! Our guests loved how our cake balls were all different flavors and how convenient it was to go up and just grab their favorite flavor! Misty was able to keep wedding tradition and make the top tier an actual small cake for us to cut! She even made us our cake topper which saved us money and time looking for one!
