Success on the Spectrum — Local services in Cranford

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and organization at SOS on the Spectrum. I submitted all required forms and applications on November 10-11, 2024, and followed up via email on January 1, 2025, regarding insurance approval, only to receive no response. I then had to call on January 7th, and if I hadn’t reached out myself, I highly doubt I would have been notified about the insurance approval.

When they canceled my son’s questionnaire appointment, they only sent an email, no call, no follow-up. Luckily, I checked my emails that day, or I would have been left waiting for a call that never came. After months of waiting, I called to confirm my son’s evaluation for this Friday, only to be told that it’s canceled because their new BCBA won’t start until mid-March. Had I not taken the initiative to call, who knows when I would have been informed. Parents, do yourself a favor apply to multiple places and always have a backup plan because situations like this can leave your child waiting far longer than necessary. Don't go to this place. They Dont answer calls , dont call back horribly. You have to go in person. The lady from desk. They give out wrong information. I went there in person to get information. When I got there, the lady said she was the owner. The same one who answers the phone. After I called million times. I told her that my son has ABA at home every day. I don't have time to drive to Cranford every day. That's why he has ABA at home. He only needed Speech and OT. She said ok. I would have to wait on the waiting list for 8 months. I understand. I called again but no one answered the freaking phone. Or respond to voice mail. I went there in person to see if it would be possible to expedite the service for my son. She said it is mandatory to have ABA with them.than would it be possible to have Speech and OT. On the phone she said one thing and in person said another. She doesn't know how to run a business. She should close it. She lied to my face. the management is horrible....
