Wonderful service from Moore’s! I went in to have my boyfriend’s great-great grandfather’s ring looked at for a resize and re-shank. This is after taking it up to Stall & Kessler’s in Lafayette. S&K quoted us at $4k-$5k to make a whole other ring because the work we wanted done “would compromise the ring’s integrity.” We decided to get a second opinion 😅.

Today I took the ring to Moore’s and the guy who helped me out (should have gotten his name) quoted us an exceptionally great price ($400-$500) to actually DO the work that we want done, and not just make a whole new ring.

The ring is extremely sentimental in nature, and was actually a ring that my boyfriend’s great-great grandfather wore to work as a New York supreme court justice everyday. We really appreciate that Moore’s values the sentimental nature of the pieces brought in, and they actively work to maintain the piece… not just say it’s a lost cause.

I called several out-of-town Jewelers about resizing a ring for my wife. The shortest time quoted to me was a three week wait! I called Moore's, and they had it done in less than 24 hours, and for 1/4 the cost of the other places. Cannot recommend them...
