Dollar General — Local services in Crowley

This location needs some serious improvement. Starting with their cashiers. I was in on Christmas Eve to pick up two items. The cashier (Margarita according to my receipt) just finished with another customer and I walked up after. She was turning as if she was about to walk away. I asked very nicely, are you open? She huffed and said I was finna go home, as she threw her arms out to grab my items. I again asked calmly, are you sure? Which she replied yuh, all while giving me the rudest attitude and acting as if I was putting her out for doing her job. Seems they don't hire based on customer service skills anymore because these kids running this store don't know the first thing about it. I was in again about a week later and had a different female cashier. She never said a word to me or my husband but instead carried on a conversation with someone she had on speaker phone on her cell phone that was propped up against the register in front of her. Apparently no one holds these employees accountable and let's them do whatever they want and treat people however they want. They need to fire everyone at this location and start over. Or better yet just shut this...

Please do not shop here. Manager/cashier is unprofessional and irate. I made a purchase and asked for specific denominations. Manager was rude and said she didn't want to go to the bank, so take a large bill. She would only break the bill if I'd purchase another item. I told her that I would not have purchased the first items if that was the policy. She said she didn't have to tell me anything!! A convenience fee of $1.00 was applied and I don't have the right to ask for specific denominations??!! All in all, this could have been resolved with communications and professionalism. Cashier (Tasha, I believe) is always rude to customers who use coupons. She disrespected me in front of my children and manny customers behind me only cause I asked her if I was able to place an order on my phone (cause it was cheaper somehow) find the item’s myself and pick it up to make it easier for them. She started raising her voice at me and moving her arms up and down that my youngest daughter said mommy I’m scare, is she gonna do something to you… I was red of the embarrassment and very surprised and the only thing I said to her was you’re very rude to me all the time.
