My favorite coffee shop, hands down!! I used to live in Mansfield and visited their Mansfield location often. Then I moved to Burleson and just could not make it over there there much at all. I was so excited when I found out they were coming to Crowley! The baristas are top notch: so kind, inviting, personable, and friendly. The owners are amazing human beings who show so much love and kindness. I am a coffee snob and Flying Squirrel knows how to make GOOD coffee. I have had many play dates for my kids at this location. Their chalk wall makes for great fun for the kids, my mom friends and I can sit, chat, and drink fantastic coffee, and when the kids get too loud, we’re able to walk across the street to the little playground. PERFECT spot! I have yet to have a drink I didn’t like (and I’ve tried many!) and have never felt unwelcomed or uncomfortable. I cannot attest to the food, but I do not doubt it’s...

I currently live in Tucson Arizona and I work at Kartchner Caverns State Park. Today a man named Jim was wearing a Flying Squirrel T-shirt. I’ve only ever gone to the Mansfield location. I grew up just down the street from downtown Mansfield so it was surprising to see that logo all the way out in Arizona. I looked at Jim and said “are you from Mansfield?” And that sparked a whole conversation. Turns out he won the shirt in a raffle at this location, but he worked in Mansfield for many years. This interaction made my day 💜, so thank you for existing and being a reason why two random people got to strike up a conversation. My visit to flying squirrel, was an amazing experience.The combination of a warm atmosphere, exceptional service, high-quality coffee, and a strong sense of community / military proud made it a standout coffee shop Having the luxury of serving with the 25th infantry division scout sniper platoon Schofield barracks Hawaii I felt welcomed as an army veteran. The owner's daughter's father was a pilot in Vietnam. She spent the time honoring her father with some beautiful stories Hence the flying squirrel.
