Pandan Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Crowley

We have eaten their food twice. Food is good. Went to the location first. Restaurant was not very clean. Table, seats and floor were very sticky. Bathroom not well kept.

We ordered take out the second time and we're very disappointed with the portion size. We paid $9.95 for the curry that you see below in the picture. This is the exact same size container that other Thai restaurants use... But fill it full. Both times it felt like they were stingy with anything and everything charging extra fees and then being stingy as you can see in the picture. When we opened the bag at home and saw the container less than half full we immediately called trying to see if this was an oversight. After being given the run around by the girl I asked a direct question. What is the normal portion size for the $9.95 curry? She said she didn't know. So I asked her how do you measure it, by a measuring cup, by weight, by what measure? Her response didn't even make sense .. "Oh we use a new container now".

My husband tried to speak with anyone else... a manager... an owner... But no such luck

We liked the food.. but they not going to make it with the reputation they have earned... And that is very...

The food is good, no doubt. The Crowley location for atmosphere is a solid 4, the Burleson location is #5 for ambience, charm. THE PROBLEM? Do not order online and have delivered to you. They consistently leave off food items, drinks (and they are one of the very few Thai Places in the Metroplex to serve Almond Milk Thai Iced Tea-a guilty pleasure with only half of the calories). This past year has been a challenge to get what you paid for from them. Today, food delivered, but no drink. Disappointed. They have "reimbursted me" enough, because it never makes it back onto my card and when this was offered in lieu of bringing me my drink when I called them within 15 minutes of my food being delivered today, I said no. I told them I would leave a review about the delivery, and to use only if you want to be "reimbursed without your money coming back to you". I gave a tip, and then some. Burleson/Crowley area continues to grow, and eventually we will have another Thai place open up...I will go there the moment...

Great food- definitely deserving of their 4.4 rating. It is great prices as well. We got the Crunchy Spring Rolls, Spicy Basil Fried Rice with beef and shrimp, and the Pad Kee-mow (Drunken Noodles) with Shrimp. It was so delicious, flavorful, and fresh. Also, a good serving size to where we were full and had leftovers. We ordered the meals extra spicy, we definitely tasted the spice but I wouldn’t say it is extra spicy. We eat a lot of extremely spicy food so we are probably just immune. Wish I took a picture of the food to show you all but we smashed 😋 I definitely will next time. This will be my go-to Thai place when I am in the area. I will have to try the macaron ice cream sandwiches as well. Based on the other Thai and Asian restaurants I’ve been to, I wouldn’t say they are completely authentic but I don’t care since I went only for some food and not the experience.
