The worst customer experience thanks to Brett. My order was marked as picked up (I called to cancel it and never picked up). When i presented the problem to Brett (only wanted to make sure I don’t get charged for something I didn’t buy and if there was a confusion we get to the bottom of it), he accused me of wanting the product and refund at the same time and told me he was too busy (when I suggested he checks the cameras) to investigate and informed me he had better things to do. He basically told me he had no extra inventory which must mean I picked up the order. I suggested perhaps someone else picked up the order because it certainly wasn’t me. He wasn’t having it and informed me there was nothing he could do for me. He asked if i remembered the name of the employee who cancelled the order and when I said no, he turned into this condescending, mean person saying “oh you don’t remember the name, you supposedly cancelled the order and you didn’t picked it up, aha.” In the end, it turned out the order was indeed cancelled but was marked as picked up. He called me back and explained they had to mark cancelled orders as picked up and that everything is ok now and I got a refund. Ummmm ok, well you told me five minutes ago it was picked up and I am paying for it because according to you Brett, I am just a lying fraud trying to scam you. He obviously had no idea how this cancellation policy works. Also, he yelled at me when I asked for the store manager’s phone number, only because I asked him to repeat it. I hope the conversation was recorded because it was extremely unprofessional, condescending and verbally abusive. I may have an idea why he treated me this way and I may be taking this further because this is not how you treat human beings no matter who they are, especially not the customers. I only called to clear the confusion but left shaking feeling like the...
Read moreA year ago, I bought a computer at this store with the PROMISE that if I bought the service plan, ANYTHING that went wrong with the computer would be cause for REPLACEMENT. That was a LIE which I found out October 27, 2014 when I brought the computer in for repair. Today, November 5, they FINALLY are sending the computer out for repair. That was NOT what Charles told me when I bought the computer and service plan. They have been sitting on their collective tuchases for over a week. I had to call AGAIN to get things rolling. I seriously doubt they do any kind of screening when they hire people. They are inept, lie, are lazy (otherwise my computer would have been tended to without ME having to PUSH them), and are inconsiderate of their customers. I hope this deters EVERYONE from dealing with this business. Best Buy has trained, competent, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly people working at their store in Crystal Lake. Oh, and when I bought the computer, I was charged $50 to have my old computer's hard drive put on a disk. I never got that disk and they never refunded my $50. Shop there at...
Read moreCustomer service at the print department was so disappointing! I was greeted when I walked in and one of the young girls with colored hair was super bubbly and friendly and helpful and the other young girl was very disengaged and lazy! The 2nd girl had zero care, no personality, no work ethic, was just sitting there on the stool and the other girl kept asking her what she was going to be working on or helping with as she was trying to do all the tasks. I asked what coupon I could use for the print and was told nothing…$60+ for 3 posters is ridiculous and I wish I just went somewhere else! Next time I’ll be going to Walgreens for printing due to this locations prices and customer service like this….so...
